When people say "eat clean" it makes me want to punch them. Seriously, can we change it to "try your best to not eat crap"?

Yes! I should have mentioned this. Honestly, gorge yourself on all those delicious gluten food for 3 days before. My mom ate Oreos and fettucini Alfredo. If it comes back positive, you wont have another chance.

I'm not going to lie, this is usually my gut reaction when someone tells me they are going gluten free or says something like "you're gluten free - I love being paleo!". It makes me want to punch them. I do not choose gluten free. It's more "Gluten Free or Die" However, since it sounds like you are doing it for digestive…

don't. just don't. don't get sucked into the gluten free snack black whole of doom. I have been gluten free for 10 years (I have celiac- which sometimes goes along with IBS so you might want to get tested). Bread wise, the Udi's bread is the best. Ancient Harvest and Tinkyada have the best pasta. Glutino has the best…

I just spent $26 dollars on 1/2 gallon skim milk, baby carrots, spinach, kale, 4 apples, 3 beats, 1 bunch of bananas and 1 loaf gluten free bread. I have planned this to last (hopefully) for 8 meals. So, 2.5 days, and that's not even including the meat and other protein we already have at home. Please tell me how you get…

I was...good luck! My tips- Log your food everyday, every when you blow it. Think of your calories as a weekly goal, not a daily goal. If you blow it one day, just cut back or exercise more the next. Weigh and measure your food- not knowing what you actually eat can bite you in the butt. Eat at least 80% your exercise…

The sedentary or non sedentary part shouldn't matter if you still plan to eat your exercise calories. Just enter your weight as your goal weight, chose maintenance, and eat that PLUS your exercise calories. That will be how much you will need to eat at that weight to maintain it.

if you are following the daily calories provided by MFP (meaning, you haven't changed them based on some other equation), then yes, you are supposed to eat them back. Your net calories should not go below 1200 every day. So, if you don't want to eat all them, at least eat enough to get you over 1200 net. If you want to…

chest: nipple line with a bra on. I always were my sports bra for consistency. make sure its not drooping in the back. waist: I either do right at the navel or where the bend happens when you bend at the waist to the side. Just pick one and stick with it...cause they are very different Hips/butt: at the widest part, right…

You can add raw honey or just buy the flavored. We keep plain in our house to use as sour cream.

I wear a fitbit, and when I deep clean, it counts that activity. If I clean enough, I get a calorie adjustment. I say log it, but I don't know that you need to stress too much about eating all those exercise calories back.
-
This is so dangerous. I can not imagine why anyone would want to put their body into a state of Ketoacidosis. This is not healthy, even if it does make you lose weight...which it will. You are already fat, why would you want to add more potential health risks?

Just eat the peanut butter. If you are short on cash, free peanut butter is a great way to get some protein and up your calories. If you are worried about some of the fat, you can pour off some of the oil before you stir. I would rather eat less than perfect peanut butter than hit up the $ menu at a fast food joint.…

They are not calorie free. They are very low calorie. If you like diet food, they aren't bad. They also aren't great. I'd rather have real noodles. However, if you are one of those people that just wants to be able to eat a ton of food, than these maybe for you. The whole bag is only like 50 calories. Just rinse them…

Vitamix. Most used thing in my kitchen...even more than my prized coffee maker. Costco has the best price!

Just move. Try to get 10,000 steps in per day. You don't have to worry about lifting weights or special cardio routines, just move. If you like walking, keep walking. Worry about weights later. Not to be mean, but at your size, you create your own resistance without added weight, and sometimes it can just all be to…

Sometimes it takes me about 8 hours to really get hungry enough to eat my exercise calories, especially if I exercise at night, so I will save them for the next day. Your body doesn't reset at midnight!
-
if you are using the MFP database, I would only eat back about 80% of what they estimate...unless you are wearing a body bug or fitbit type monitor. Then eat all of them.
-
4 hours in between and bigger meals with more protein.
-
1. MFP expects you to exercise and with that exercise it will give you more calories. AS long as your net calories (Calories eaten- exercise calories) are over 1200, that isn't too little. I too am trying to conceive, and that is what I eat. As long as you eat back your exercise calories it is not too drastic. If you are…

cheat days shouldn't exist. A comfort food on occasion wont ruin your hard work, but I wouldn't get in a habit of giving yourself permission to blow your calories. If you are starving, reexamine your exercise calories and what you eat protein wise. If I workout a lot, I am sometimes really hungry the next day, so I will…

I never, ever have a free day. All of it gets logged. This is because, as time has gone by, I have learned to really think about if I really want a food knowing it will put me over my goals. To be honest, there is no reason to go over your goals. Just move a bit more if you want extra food or a treat. The 80/20 rule is…

I am sorry to tell you, it is 80% diet. So many people lose weight but just watching what they eat. That being said, going to the gym will probably help you out in the long run because you will have a stronger body. Also, you may not be losing as fast because of the whole "muscle weighs more than fat" thing...and your…

Believing in cheat days. Maybe a well deserved favorite comfort food on occasion if it fits into the calories, but there is never a good enough reason to completely go off the rails. You will always pay for it somehow. Everything always counts.

I do a full protein shake after, and then I usually end up eating a meal within an hour or two depending on when I worked out. The big thing you need after lifting is liquid protein.
-
The only reason you cant have them is if you cant control yourself. I will eat 4 cupcakes in one day, so I never have them. I also would rather watch tv than exercise off some cupcake calories, and I don't want to save room in my diary for a cup cake instead of real food. That being said, as long as your nutritional goals…

If you can find a low cal drink that is less than 99 calories (bicardi and diet coke), I will be really impressed. The calories aren't in the diet coke, they are in the alcohol. Also FYI, your body metabolizes diet mixers differently, so you get drunk faster.

Ice cream is always ok. My only rule is, only eat if I really enjoy it. If it's not my favorite flavor, I wont bother with it.
-
I eat more. I just really try to chose the best food possible. I also make sure i don't go over my maintenance number. It's one thing not to lose, it's another thing to gain...
