It is totally possible to get a six pack, but the picture on the left is photoshopped, so please don't expect those results.

I don't care what anyone says, the microwave makes everything possible. I highly recommend one pot meals. Veggie lasagnas, soups, stews, chili, casseroles. All of these can be made with good ingredients. I will make a double batch, freeze one and eat one. If I cook 3 times, we are usually good to go all week with lunch and…

MFP tends to over estimate the calorie burns. I recommend only eating 80% of the exercise calories unless you have some sort of tracker that monitors exactly what you do. But yes, in a nut shell, you should be eating your exercise calories. Lastly, your diet is the most important. No matter how much you exercise, if you…

you should log your exercise calories and then eat those back. If your goal is 1200, that is a net of 1200. So, Calories you eat - Calories you earned from exercise = 1200. If you burn 500 in a work out, you can eat 1700 that day. If you don't workout at all, eat 1200. As for each meal, try to plan each one to get between…

Have you measurements changed? Could you be losing inches but not pounds due to swapping fat for muscle? Drink lots and lots of water too...maybe you are retaining fluid.
-
It's probably just water, but...have you recalculated your goals recently?
-
that's 1500 plus exercise calories. MFP expects you to enter your exercise and then it will adjust your calorie goal accordingly. You also get less calories with age.

mine is open to my friends...but that is mostly so if we make a meal together and one of us enters it the other can copy it- but I block people that regularly comment on it. I am not one of those people that needs encouragement, suggestions, or judgment. I know what I am doing, and I am aware of the decisions I make. I…

the fastest way to lose weight is TABATA or interval running because it really burns calories. . However, if you want to lose inches you will need to do resistance as well. That being said, the most important thing you can do is focus on your diet.

Great Job! This happens to me. I hang out at between 195-193... few things I have done that have helped. 1. Try eating every 4 hours instead of 2 or 3. I heard Jillian Michales recommend it once. Supposedly it helps your body burn its existing fat stores instead of just fueling it constantly and never burning the stored…

It is all about the calories you consume over a 7 day total. If you are shooting for a loss of 1 pound per week, that is 3500 less over a week or 500 less each day. If you blew it this weekend, cut back over the next few days. It will all even out. If you are really diligent, log all those extra calories you ate this…

I get rid of all my fat clothes too! Nothing keeps you on track like having to go naked. Great job!

lots of weights. Low fat, low carb, high protein. I wouldn't eat at a deficit either. Your body burns carbs, then fat, then protein. If you eat at a deficit, and don't eat enough protein it will cannibalize your muscles and leave you looking doughy, but show a weight loss. It sounds like you don't need to lose weight, you…

bananas. and any other food you have in the house.

It's not just you. You are more likely to be hungry when you are ovulating (about day 14 in a 28 day cycle). Also, water retention, constipation, and hormonal fluctuation can make the scale go crazy. Drink lots of water, get a lot of protein and fiber, and know what your maintenance number is. Mine is 1960. I usually eat…

Everyday, but I only actually count Tuesday mornings.
-
are your calorie goals set to a reasonable amount. Are you going over your maintenance number as well?
-
try logging your food.

You will need to eat back your exercise calories on MFP. Use those calories to track your fruit. Fruit is never free, regardless of what their plan is. However, if you go over by a little bit in one area, it's better to be in fruit than in cookies. But, since you said you maintained this past week, and you haven't been…

I like shakeology, but I use it as a meal replacement in addition to being an after work out boost. If you are just looking for a pure protein powder, you can get them pretty cheaply. Just watch the carbs and sugar content.
-
I would leave out the cream of anything soup, and instead puree a can of white beans.

It is bad while you are pregnant because you should not be trying to lose weight while you are pregnant.

This is why I almost always use the bar code scanner on my phone when I log food. I don't think people purposely enter the wrong information, I think they don't understand what a serving size is or how to accurately log it. If I am using a food that I haven't scanned, I always check it against the packages nutritional…

yep. pressure on your feet can cause the bones to spread. that's why pregnant woman can gain a shoe size.

Eat more protein...like 20 grams per meal. I love food. I think about it all the time. Protein helps me eat to live instead of living to eat.

does it hurt more after rest, like first thing in the morning or after you have been sitting for a long time? Can you put your weight in your heels? If no, then it defiantly sounds like Plantar Fas. Plantar Fas. has kind of a tugging feeling along the bottom of your foot and the pain can come from your heel and radiate…

Just eat enough back so that you get your net up to 1200.
-
it once told me to "get moving" when I picked it up after my shower. this was after completing 20,000 steps that day. I told it to piss off.

1200 plus exercice. Those of us who are "blessed" with this low number need to eat back the exercise calories to really get the benefits. Not eating back the exercise calories doesn't make you any more successful in the long run, it just makes it hard to stick with it. I actually go back and forth between 1200 and 1440…

In a nut shell, you need to eat about 200 calories more (so your net is at 1200) today, although if you wanted the 500 you should feel free to eat them.
