I've heard you should not drink more than 4-8oz. per day.

I add chia seeds to a lot of foods I prepare. Gives an extra 4g of fiber boost if the meal is otherwise lacking (like my typical Greek yogurt lunch would otherwise be).

Currently 115lbs. Goal is either 112 or 110, but moreso the goal is reducing the residual cellulite & toning up (esp the legs & booty). I started at about 135.

I selected certain items to tailor because I really liked them & it is less expensive than buying new items (in some cases). I worked out a deal with the tailor at the dry cleaner because I was going to bring in 6-8 pieces of clothing (dresses & skirts) and that was a nice bit of business for him. But I understand the…

Beautifully said! Completely agree!! And this approach has worked for me as well (quality foods, packed with nutrients, focusing a bit more on lean proteins, good fats, and carbs that come from certain fruits & non-starchy veggies, quinoa, lentils, Greek yogurt, etc., not sugar, flour, processed foods, etc). I'm never…

I recommend you listen to a free podcast series called The Smarter Science of Slim. The guy talks quite specifically about why the quality of food and the types of calories you consume are the key to sustainable fat loss. He explains how the body's metabolism is managed by our hormones, which in turn are dictated by the…

I'm 5'2" also and had a long plateau around 121lbs. I went from 135 to 121 running or power walking and eating 1200 cal/day, but since I got within 10 lbs of my goal weight I've had to completely change my approach. I've been doing what the above posters have recommended: increased my calories, switched to primarily weight…

Breakfast - 1/2cup cooked quinoa with 1/2 cup blueberries and 1 TBSP chia seeds Side salad or a main meal - quinoa with diced cucumbers, grape tomatoes, grilled chicken, 1/4 cup craisins (or less, just for a bit of sweetness), diced mango, diced red/orange/yellow bell pepper, diced avocado, red onion, squeeze lime iinto…

Regardless of which dressing you like, I recommend starting with one TBSP, drizzle over salad, then stick your (clean) hand in the bowl and stir it all around. You'll be amazed at how far salad dressing goes in coating all the leaves with much less product if you use this method. Then you might even be able to cut back to…

I'm with ya. I'm trying to get rid of the final 6 lbs and feel like it's taking forever. I'm hoping that switching to more resistance/weight training and upping my calories slightly will help. It's really hard to get into the mindset to increase calories.

I have quinoa, blueberries, & chia seeds mixed together for breakfast and chia seeds in Fage Greek yogurt for lunch. Love them & I feel full longer. I have put chia seeds in almond milk & let them sit for 20-30 minutes before drinking, but I dont really like the consistency of that concoction so I tend to just add them to…

I love mine & really feel it's worth the price. I set my goal at 3000 daily and it doesn't let me fool myself into thinking I'm more active than I really am. At the end of the day, if I'm at 1700 or 2300 or whatever, I get on my treadmill or out for a walk or run just to make sure I hit 3000 or more. I am competitive with…

Fage Greek yogurt with 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp chia seeds, and 1 tbsp mini chocolate chips (bad sugar, but makes me feel like Greek yogurt is really ice cream) OR Quinoa with grilled chicken, bell peppers, cucumbers, grape or cherry tomatoes, maybe corn, maybe diced mango, fresh lime juice, salt, pepper to taste. I make a big…
