I am at 360 for the YEAR right now...but this is 360 more miles than I have ever ran in a year! I think I'll hit 500 this year. I start marathon training in December so I think my 2012 will be between 750 and 1000 miles.

You know I love ya! Great advice and I second everything you say. Only my drug of choice during a run is some NUUN in my water bottle and GU Jet Blackberry - I found that I NEED the caffeine!

1 pound of fat weighs the same as 1 pound of muscle....muscle is more dense/has more mass that fat, it does take up less space though, so depend on your measurements to show you how much you are losing!

It depends on the person, on the run, on the weather..... I had a half marathon over the summer on a 96* day that only had 1 water stop. Luckily I wore my belt with 2 8oz bottles, that saved me that day. For a 5k, no belt, for a 10k, I'll look at the water stations if there aren't enough for me I'll carry water too. I have…

My actual neighborhood is an 80.100! The city I work in/our major metro area is a 56/100...very surprising it is even that high.

125-140 for me! I, too, am petite but I have 10 pounds to lose. Thankfully it is a fantastic burn for me!
