Interesting advise from Jillian. I was not losing much..took 2 days off of exercise and upped my calories...I lost 2 lbs!! Hard to wrap my mind around how that works, but it does!

I was losing weight pretty regularly and feeling great. Then...I did some reading on the message boards about "starvation mode" and spent the last 2 wks trying to make sure I eat my 1200 ca. I am not eating back my exercise calories. I am gaining weight!! Geez...I was better off with my 1000 ca while trying to lose.

I am set at 1200 because I plugged in that I'd like to lose 2lb a week. MFP wont go below 1200 so it tells me I could lose 1.6/wk on 1200 ca. I am presently 5'10" and weigh 169.3. I was 191 when I began MFP on Dec 2. I feel my best at 150. That is the weight I spent most my younger years at. (145-150). I am 52. I have…

Toss the candy!!! I know it is hard. I had to toss an entire cheesecake and a plate of lovely Chrisstmas cookies. Today I will give away my lucsious bottle of Rum eggnog. Better to remove the temptations! I have no fabulous relationship advise..sorry there.
