I did the same thing Anita (sort of). I lost 40 pounds and then unexpectedly got pregnant with our fourth. I gained 50 pounds with him (I remembered how much I loved food). I'm so glad I found this group! I am starting with a trainer next week and have been stressing about whether I eat back those calories or what. I want to look and feel good, but I don't want to lose my supply.

I took fenugreek for an entire year when nursing my first baby. I weighed 18 pounds less than I did when I got pregnant by the time he was a year old WITHOUT dieting. They did not cause me to gain weight at all.

I am so confused this time around! MFP tells me to eat 1650 calories, so I added 500 to that and stopped losing. I dropped to 2000 calories and started losing again. I agree...that's too low. I was working with a trainer before I had my baby, and he said we should never consume fewer than 1200 calories but ideally no fewer than 1500 per day.
