It's very much a cultural thing. When I gained to 120lbs at 5'4", my asian family/friends never called me "thin" or too thin - my parents actually told me to lose a few haha (my face was getting puffy). At 110lbs, no one said a thing either. The only time I've ever gotten comments is ironically, from strangers whose…

It's not an "eating disorder" per se (you would have to be clinically diagnosed and meet specific DMS IV criteria) but it sounds like the beginning stages of disordered eating. Get help and get out while you can.

metabolism is based on muscle mass. unless you've experience significant muscle atrophy, your metabolism isn't as "damaged" as you think. if you want to "increase" your metabolism, you can try lifting weights to increase or, at the minimum, retain lean muscle mass.

if it helps, people don't generally care about what you look like. they will judge you on first impressions but beyond those first 10 seconds, looks do not matter. regardless of how much you weigh or what you look like, everyone has something to be insecure about. nobody is perfect but the happiest people are those who are…

this exactly. it's EXTREMELY dangerous and she will most likely damage her heart.

homemade =/= store bought. that sounds delish.

Big fish are likely to have higher conc of metals because they are higher up in the food chain... If you eat a lot of sashimi, you are also likely to be ingesting mercury. Wiki is not a reliable source but you can always check the original source, if you can be bothered.

mcd's? that stuff isn't even food... gross. i'm sure you could eat 600 cals of cardboard too. wonder what that'll do for your insides...
-
you eat fairly little... are you sure you're tracking all your cals? with the amount you're eating you should be dropping weight like crazy... re: eating junk, it shows up as visceral fat and later on in the skin/bones/organs. aim for long term health.

it's orthostatic hypotension. try upping your iron intake (could be anemia-related) as well. do you get a lot of salt/sugar/carbs in your diet? i'm not saying to eat high salt but if your diet is lacking in electrolytes (salt, potassium) it will affect your blood pressure.

8 - love your hair btw. it looks super healthy. :) edit: ahaha clearly aimed at dinomartinez3.

Wow you look about 10 years younger. Beautiful. Keep going! :)

I actually have more curves now that I've lost weight. Both my bust and hips are 32", just need my waist and thighs to be smaller. :) (Well not really "lost weight"... I actually weigh more but my measurements have gone down...) Anyway, just goes to say losing weight =/= losing curves. Just eat healthy and get toned.

If you find someone too thin, they "need" to gain MUSCLE not FAT, as some of you are implying. Educate yourself, jeez. In any case, voicing your opinions about someone's weight is very low class. Keep it to yourself. It's none of your business.

Nah, her *kitten* probably accounts for 20% of her bf... She's very short. Just because she has some abs (lipo, anyone?) doesn't make her fit. Athletic bf is 20%. She might be within acceptable but I HIGHLY doubt she's even close to athletic.
