Here's a great link for this topic: http://scoobysworkshop.com/quick-healthy-meals/ I've used all of these ideas.

Food -- add food -- should be right there. Maybe if your new it's not much (or anything) there yet.

Set your MFP to sedentary. Because on days when your lazy, you don't want it bumping your calorie count high. Next... walk and fitbit auto syncs to your MFP. You'll gain exercise calories the more you walk. Next... log your other fitness either on the Fitbit site, or MFP --it doesn't matter. You put in the times you did…

It's totally worth it. Having the fitbit on all day keeps me motivated to MOVE! I look for times throughout the day to get extra steps in. For instance, after each bathroom break I take a quick walk up and down the stairs. Keep track of how far I've gone is important, otherwise I don't do it. Prior to fitbit I wore a…

I've lowered my cholesteral levels so I want to maintain that as well as hopefully never seeing other diseases such as obesity and diabetes. Last, I love wearing tight shirts and they look and feel good on me. :D I used to always wear baggy shirts to hid the fat. No longer need to do that. It's awesome!

Addicted or dedicated -- who cares!? The more active you are, the better. If they say negative things to you, just reply back and say "You mad bro?" Or "That's right.... get mad!!!! " Sitting on our butts is the main cause of the problem; moving -- is the solution!

Eat zero fried items and instead eat all grilled items --including white rice.

Lentils and salsa Natrual peanut butter canned beans

You guys can add me if you want. I've been at it for awhile now but now I'm trying to gain more muscle mass as well as eating healthy 90% of the time.

I'm in the same boat as you. Add me as friend and you can see my diary. I've just recently started tracking again so only a few days can be seen. I mostly try to eat healthy too for cholesterol reasons more than anything. My new trick is to add fruit juice in. I know, I know... eat whole fruit is better. And I do that!!!!…

Here's what I do (look at my diary M-F if you want). 7am -- Cereal for breakfast (typically). 10am -- Yoghurt and an orange 12pm -- Sardines and bread OR canned chicken mixed with mix veg OR turkey 6inch sub at Subway with lots of veg (no chips and unsweat tea) OR grilled chicken and veg OR cottage cheese mixed with hot…

Do you have your profile setup correctly? If you have a desk job, you need to keep it at sedentary, and you need to set it to lose 1 or 2 lba or so a week. It should be a gradual process. Next, log all your activities --and then make sure you EAT within a hundred calories of what MFP says you should eat. Don't skip your…

No.... but you need to listen to your body. The body needs both rest and fitness, so there needs to be a balance. Obviously you couldn't exercise 24 hours a day 7 days a week. haha. So see how you feel and how you recover by increasing what you do. Also, pay attention to those calories; the more active you are --the more…

Don't need to eat before, but eat something at least 45 minutes after your done.

I started this program in January of 2012, completed all six weeks, but never actually got to 100 pushups for the final test. So I moved on to more strength training for the rest of 2012. I just started doing the pushup program again, and my last test was 70 push-ups. I've created my own week 7 schedule because even after…

Do you have an iPhone? Do a search in the app store for "Workouts". It should be the first one by "Daily Workout Apps, LLC". That's a good one to follow; all stuff you can do at home.

Do this 3x a week...: Planks (as long as you can) Crunches (follow 200 sit-ups app by softwareX) Superman (as long as you can) Side plank (as long as you can) Repeat planks and superman 3x and do 5 sets of the crunches following that app -- 3x a week. On off days... Do at least 3 planks every day. Set a reminder on your…

It can take five years. Those 6 week programs to getting ripped is just bs. The key is to not give up and to think about how different you'll look in five years. We didn't get fat overnight either. While losing fat with lots of cardio gives quicker fat loss results, gaining significant muscle mass, on the other hand, is a…

Shakeoloy is expensive because of all the super food ingredients in there. It's not meant to be a protein shake. To get all those super nutritious ingredients would cost even more money. So NO... there is no other way. IF you can't afford it, just eat a wide variety of fruit and veg. That's about all you can do. You could…

I like seeds too. I went online and got unsalted ones. I'm not sure if they are less calorie, but I was trying to get lower sodium. I also make my own little baggies so I can limit myself and not eat as many.

I had the same experience. I tried brand after brand and hated them all. Then one day I tried this: A frozen banana, 1 cup milk, 1 scoop protein powder -- mix in a blender. Result -- I was addicted! Also I learned if you don't have the frozen banana available, ice works great too. Having the icey cold sensation of the ice…

I bought a HRM but when I compare what MFP says it's generally about the same. If your trying to lose weight, a little cushion at the end of the day is always a good thing. But not to much! I'd try to stay within a hundred calories or so.

I just got my Fitbit 5 days ago or so and it totally motivates me to move. The great thing about it is that it automatically syncs with MFP so you don't have to think about it. Set your profile to sedentary and keep fitbit clipped to the inside of your pocket all day long. It will soon show you are not sedentary at all.…

I'm going to try it for health benefits. I had high cholesterol in January, lowered it to borderline in June by watching diet and doing more exercise. All summer I've been doing even more in regards to both of these. So tomorrow I'm getting my cholesterol checked again just to see where it's at. Next, I'm gonna try the…

Having high cholesterol and not wanting diabetes was the biggest motivation for me not to eat bad food. And actually, once you get in the swing of things, eating healthy will come natural to you. For instance, I no longer eat ice cream -- because it's so high in saturated fat (one of the worst) and that's really bad for…
