I'm from Buffalo, too! Well, Kenmore, now. I am Vegan so I go to the restaurant called Merge (where they serve Vegan, Vegetarian and local grass fed meat). I have "Seitan Wings" from there. My husband (a non-Vegan) loves it!

I became a Vegan July 15th for health reasons and I lost 12 pounds! So, the answer is I gave up meat, fish, dairy and eggs. They key to weight loss is calories. Just watch your calories. However, all calories are not created equal. Protein rich calories take longer to burn and fill you up longer. If you'd ask my husband, which is apparently what he would prefer in the booty area, he would say ALOT! When I lose weight, he gauges it by my butt and determines "Your butt is not "badonka-donk-ey" anymore! Where'd it go?' That's when I know I'm on the right track. LOL! Thanks for the laugh today!
