  • Loool oh my god, so right now I'm a 38D. When I was at my lowest weight I was wearing a 32 nearly A ... I'm so scared to go back to that size, not even an entire A cup. @_@ I just wear sports bras most of the time, my boob size fluctuates so much.
  • Who's the trainer? The woman in the picture is the woman who was told to cover up (Tiffany Austin). There's a video (had to google, it's not included in the link provided) and she's the one who was "intimidating" other people. They labeled the picture incorrectly. Link:…
  • Oh man I really want to see Sigur Ros! I was really surprised that Tyr was still coming around. I knew CoB was still touring because I saw them when I went to an Apocalyptica show a few years ago. I almost dropped to the floor when my sister said Tyr was coming around. @_@
  • Some kind of terrier. All of the bounding energy!
  • Isn't the point of going to the gym to get in shape? No one who goes has to aspire to having as toned a body as she does, so they should just stick to minding their own business. Also, she's freaking hot.
  • It comes and goes for me. Sometimes when I check the forums nothing really catches my eye, but sometimes everything is interesting and I stay on a while.
  • At this point it seems like you are really struggling. Since you've already tried on-campus therapy, I would suggest maybe asking them if they can refer you to someone off campus. The scope of their practice sometimes limits them - I know when I saw on-campus therapists they dealt mostly with stress cases when my problem…
  • I was in a marriage where I was threatened with being cheated on and / or left entirely if I gained weight. I was 110 pounds and basically not allowed to eat and regularly told I was getting a double chin. After dropping more weight I was hospitalized, a few weeks later I got $1000 from him and drove back home to my…
  • Good shoes are important, and the soles that are in the shoes are no good - you should get gel inserts for better shock absorption. Also make sure you're striking heel, ball, toes when walking / jogging / running. Lots of people tend to strike straight downwards and that can cause a ton of paaain.
  • I got some today in Springfield, VA for $3.71.
  • Bieber. Talk about "affluenza".
  • My office always gets really cheap goodies, so I'm able to skip. Over the years of trying to eat better, I've become a bit of a sweets snob. >_>;; If it isn't gourmet, I think it's just not worth the calories. I also have a MAD sweet tooth, so things like sheet cakes and cupcakes from the grocery store just don't cut it…
  • It -can- slow your metabolism just because your body will try slowing everything down because the excessive exercise can cause serious fatigue ... but the OP is not at the excessive point with 30 min - 1 hour of exercise 6x a week.
  • I always make sure I bring my change of clothes with me and change before I leave the office - if it's possible you should pick a gym that's between home and work, less out of the way / hard to get to. I also try to plan my workouts in advance and keep them written down on my calendar so I can see what's in store for me…
  • I have four tattoos now. 2 in immediately visible areas, 2 that can be seen but are very easy to cover up. I started working for the gov't three years ago, and my first manager had piercings all up his ears and has many visible tattoos. Now, we're part of a way more relaxed branch of the gov't, but still. xD I always…
  • Just a quick observation: I went through your food diary and it seems like most days at least one thing is in the red. Try keeping things in the green and try getting more micronutrients into your daily intake (and make sure to be completely honest about what you log - a lot of people get embarrassed and will skip logging…
  • I always make a salad with my lunch and bring one fruit for a snack. Sometimes if I'm having trouble getting it all in I make a juice or a smoothie packed with every veggie I can find and some fruit.
  • Ask your doctor. Also: http://www.iamat.org/country_profile.cfm?id=178#profile_immunization < - a list!
  • Who cares? :O
  • Totally going to do this now! I have a few resistance bands at home, starting tomorrow I'm bringing one with so I can sneak in some toning while I sit. :)
  • Nope. And no, carbonated water does not "confuse" your body. It's water. Just check the nutrition values for sodium and other minerals - some have them and some don't - and added sodium can be bad if you need to watch your intake.
  • I think the average calories burned in one workout is between 200-300 calories - I usually burn about 175 in level one, 220 on level two, and 280 on level three based on my heart rate monitor's readings (it depends on how hard you push and the level that you're on). I logged it manually (I don't think it's in the exercise…
  • 1) 5'2" @ your weight = not fat and you do not have a pig belly. 2) People in general are jerks. What sucks is that "people" include those you love and those closest to you. When those people see you making a change in your life, they often get jealous, confused, and / or scared. What also sucks is that most people don't…
  • I've always been told to start by going to your doctor, getting things checked out, and they can help set up a plan for you to stick to. Especially if you've been sedentary for a long time, it really couldn't hurt to get checked out first. Since you're new to fitness, you WILL get winded ... you need to workout to build…
  • Always ask for grilled or baked over breaded and / or fried, try to stray from cream-based sauces, and skip the bread basket.
  • I have a very extensive workout dvd collection. xD I really like Jillian Michael's kickbox quick fix, Brazil Butt Lift, Zumba Exhilarate (whole package, they have quick 20-minute workouts too for days you don't have as much time, and toning / different dances from all over the world), Flirty Girl Fitness was fun ... hmm…
  • I watch this show called Secret Eaters ... These people fill out a food diary and then a camera crew follows them around and films them and sees what they're actually eating. Almost everyone on the program said they ate a 1200-1700 calorie diet, but at the end of the program it was found they were downing around 3000-4000…
  • Simple things are to use stairs over escalators / elevators when possible, make sure you get up, stretch, and walk around every 60-90 minutes, sometimes when I go to the bathroom I use the handicap stall and do 30 squats and 30 wall push-ups... xD I take a 30 minute, relatively brisk walk with my coworkers every day…
  • I only do if I'm really pushing myself during exercise. It's a good way to keep track of fluid loss so you can re-hydrate properly.
  • A History of Iran: Empire of the Mind - Michael Axworthy. Everyone kills everybody else (lots of assassinations in early times so someone's son or nephew can rule, or to get rid of crazy rulers, on and on). I had just finished reading "Reading Lolita in Tehran" by Azar Nafisi and, while I've taken a history class on the…
