Congratulations! I am on week 6 of C25K. I am very slow as well, but I am running a lot further than I was 6 weeks ago! I think perseverance is the key. Happy Running!

Thanks for sharing your experience. We all need to be reminded that God is right there in our 'everyday' lives. We are to go to God as little children, Matthew 19:14, 'let the children come to me...' and I think we forget that sometimes. Thanks again for sharing.

I'm new to running, working on c25k, on week 6. It's been up and down. I struggle some days, and some days its easy. Add me as a friend if you want to, I think it helps to hear how others are doing.

I have been using MFP for a little over a year. I lost 40 lbs, gained 10, now I need to get about 30 off before a family wedding this summer. Finished Week 5. Wahoo!! And I am going to do a '2 Mile' Challenge in March. Hopefully I will be ready for a 5K in April. Running very slowly, really jogging is a better description, having a race to work toward will hopefully help that. Thanks for posting all the helpful advice and support!!

Some people may give you a hard time about logging food and exercise. BUT the real deal is when you see results and feel great. So keep up the good work and keep 'keepin' track'. Good luck!

I am 'starting over' with the new year. I lost 40 lbs in 2011. I read many posts, but now I would like some support as well. I have about 20-30 lbs to go, (after gaining 10 back) So add me too and we can do this together. I am adding more intense exercise to my routine, so hopefully that will help get me off this plateau…

Me too! After a 4 month plateau I am starting over. I re-evaluated my calorie intake and after reading many posts decided I need to up my calories. My husband got me an elliptical (WaHoo!) and so I am switching my walking routine with the elliptical as well. Good luck as you start over, it is great to know that we are not…
