it's sustainable if you keep at it and don't cheat. I had a friend who lost 30 lbs that way. took her a year and a half though.

i have heard good things about green tea. maybe it will make you feel fuller

ankle weights are only to b e worn for floor work. you can really hurt yourself wearing them all the time. I've sen people do it.

I have bands. I don't love the workout; I'd rather use dumbells.

What about joining Weight Watchers? A lot of health insurances will pay for it and if you follow it it's guaranteed to work.

Without sounding snarky, the best exercise is the one that you will actually do. If you already have walking as your cardio, you should be lifting weights and doing core strengthening. Barre classes and pilates would be beneficial.

I'm taking Synthroid since 1999. It's got few side effects. Be happy.

What sort of machines do they have? Classes? Take advantage of everything!
