  • I sort of understand what you are struggling with. I just recently was able to calm down over a year of severe binging and 20+ lbs weight gain. However, mine always occurred during waking hours and I imagine being half conscious is much harder to battle than being totally conscious. Still, maybe some things that I did can…
  • You should go to Flat Top Grill! You pick out every single thing that goes into your meal and the chefs stir-fry it for you. Granted, they use oil on the grill, but other than that YOU are in charge of what is in your meal. It's a bit expensive for me, but it's my absolute favorite restaurant.
  • Boy can I relate to this. In the fall of 08 I started exercising diligently and eating a bit healthier and the weight MELTED off. This time, I'm working out way more and way harder, not quite as strict with my diet, but still counting calories, etc and I either maintain or gain. SO STUPID!!
  • WOW thank you all for your amazing support! The thing about my mom is, she knows I would like to be smaller, so her actions originate from good intentions. I've even asked her before to help me out (buy healthy food, let me text her when I'm tempted), so I can't say that she's just cruel or anything, but her means don't…
  • HEY! I did some p90x, but started insanity last week (more cardio based, so i like it better). I have the same problem as you. I can stick to working out, but lose it on junk food. Anyway, I'm looking to lose about 10 lbs, maybe 15. What are your goals? We can motivate each other.

  • Because they're made of styrofoam. How do you make sand?
  • Sorry THUMPER. Never heard of Dymatize.
  • I have the swiss chocolate. I put two scoops, a handful or two of ice and a little less than a cup of water to make a deeeelicious shake. I have to have something thick and ice-creamy or i just don't feel full. They are delicious, have lots of protein to make you feel full, but have very little sugar so you don't get that…
  • HA yeah art majors are...awesome. I am certainly one of the more "normal" art majors. I'm just glad we can all relate and just so you all know...none of us are terrible people. LOL
  • Haha when he mentioned that he was making a video blog i said "Yeah, I have no desire to bore others with my everyday life" He sort of just gave me a funny look and then class started.
  • Ok! I will post all the photos I have from it on my profile, I don't know how to do it here.
  • I did the Midwest one too! We probably saw each other haha. Considering what you get for the amount, I thought it was pretty good. I've paid just as much to run a half marathon and only get a t-shirt. And for those courses all they have is a port-a-potty and mile markers.
