Very sorry for your loss.:flowerforyou: More than likely water weight from getting back on plan recently. Have you discussed your relapse with your counselor/nutritionist? I agree with PP on following your plan and letting your support team help with the results.

Mine does the same. She is only 2, but when I turn the TV on in the evenings she grabs my old 1 lb walking weights or my 3 lb set. She will lift them up and say "ooohhhh" in a big drawn out grunt, like she's working so hard. When I'm doing my cardio (DVD, that's why she likes when I turn the TV on) she will say "Go, go,…

We put them in our bedroom closet. The kids are not allowed in our room, so they never go in there.

Can definitely see a change in the tummy area, and your face. I agree on the benefits of tracking food for free verses paying someone. I tried that route years ago, MFP is my first real success. I haven't tried the WII games, but I do have the 30 DS and the Ripped in 30. I also have her FastFit Kick boxing. I can't follow…

This. This needs to be a sustainable change. You need to be able to manage an evening out. Since you know the date of the event, plan accordingly to fit it in your budget. And remember that your calorie goal can be evened out over the week. If it helos, cut 100 calories off each day of the week to "save" them for that…

I still have my goal set to lose, but am okay if I maintain my weight. I am actually working more on my fitness goal than my weight goal right now.

Pick a new story. You've used this one up.

In addition to what Bethie said, restaurant food has to be preserved, and most cases that means packed with salt, until time to cook it. Then they have to add all the fattening ingredients to make it taste better after being packed with salt. I used to hate to cook, but I am learning how to take my husband's favorite foods…

Thank you, I will be checking for some videos to show me proper form and work these into my current routine.

Good morning Sara. I do have dumb bells. I have 2 14" bars and 30 lbs of plates to use with them. I am getting heavier plates in a few weeks also, as the ones I have are 2.5 & 5 lb it is taking all the plates to be heavy enough for use now. I do not have a weight bench, but I do have a wooden bench that I have been using…

I love lifting, even though I am not yet a "heavy" lifter. How do I put all this down here and make it make sense? I'll try. 1. I feel like I've accomplished something at the end of each set. 2. When I do cardio, I just feel tired afterwards. When I lift, I feel ready for action! I usually clean my kitchen and living room.…

Keep the elbow close to the body, bringing it above your back. Watch yourself in a mirror for a set to see your whole form.

I'm just having a hard time figuring out how she felt so great 4 days after birth that she is not rocking the granny panties and fleece PJs. I didn't wear panties like that for weeks after having my kids, and not because of my big butt and thighs, even though they were huge. I'm impressed, and yes jealous too.

Yes, lifting the bar would be a big concern. Also, where would I drop it to in case I can't finish a lift. My man is pretty handy, but as he has no interest in fitness (since he stays fit from his job), he thinks a rack is too much. But with Christmas right around the corner, he is looking for an inexpensive gift. And I…

- consistent exercise (at least 5 days per week, with 3 days focusing on strength) - consistent logging (each item for each meal with accurate portions) - healthy eating (sticking to what I have planned for the day, even if that day includes a "cheat" meal) - don't over do it at Christmas dinners (don't restrict myself…

Have no idea. Haven't weighed. But even if I did, I know I didn't gain fat, would be bloating and water weight. I'm feeling good about it because I bought myself a sweater dress and leggings that I looked great in while trying it on this morning. That doesn't happen every day.

Hovering around 2000, give or take a 100 to allow for miscalculations. I've also carried and stacked firewood, cooked for 2 hours, and cleaned for 2 hours. I've got another dinner tomorrow night to attend, it will be more difficult for me to stay close to goal, because I have to work tomorrow and there will be tons of…

May need to check your make up. For some reason, I new can not use foundation without breaking out. I can use a tinted powder, but nothing heavier than that.
-
Make sure that you are not using too many skin products that can dry skin out and make break outs worse. Dry skin causes your body to produce more oil to balance it out, which causes more breakouts. I switched to a milder cleanser, and my break outs are getting better.

I started my strength training with Jillian Michaels using 3 lb weights. LOL. It didn't take me long to realize that those were not going to cut it. I bought 14" bars and some 5lb & 10lb plates. On my shoulders and arms, I started at 10lb for 10-12 reps, and that was tough. On 6-8 reps I can do 15lb, buy it is still tough,…

I've lost 50 lbs total in the past few years (I've took time off to have another baby and then dealt with depression) and I can sat that your body will still have curves. If you have them now, and real curves not jus fat flaps, then you will have them when you are smaller. I like mine better now, the curve of my hips is…

I don't think it will have any effect on your training. If anything, using that light of weights will be endurance training, nothing to do with strength. But if you feel like it is too much after a few weeks adjustment time, then use even smaller weights or none at all. Just keep that focus on the cardio portion and let…

I love your dress! I am so glad I opened this thread. I've been down lately, telling myself I'm still too big, too wide hipped, and so on. Imagine my surprise to open a thread for average women, and see women who are my size! Thanks ladies for having the confidence to post, I still do not have that yet.

I used the month of March. I lost 5 lbs that month. According to this, my Tdee for March was 2128. I am probably eating that now, but I also am not as consistent on exercising as I was then. This is good info to have. I can plan my attack for the upcoming months.

That is fantastic news. I am so happy for you, all your hard work has paid off! I love ready your posts, you always make me smile. :flowerforyou:

The best time to work out is always when you can devote yourself 110% to a kick butt workout. For me, that's about 6-7 pm. That's the best time for me because I've gotten work for the day finished, kids settled with home work and chores, and supper in the oven. I can focus on myself for 30-45 minutes with full intensity.

Drink plenty of water. Have a poop. You'll be back to normal soon. :blushing: :flowerforyou: Congrats on your goal and on Olive Garden, that's some good stuff.

You can definitely tell the difference. Your thighs and waist areas both look slimmer.

Hi. I did Jillian's 30 day shred as my very first workout when I started last February. Then I did Ripped in 30. Overall I was very pleased with my results. I didn't take pictures like I should have, but with the 30 DS I lost over 10", not much on the scale only about 4 lbs, but the inches just melted off. With the ripped…

Highest recorded weight? 189 at 5' 5". But I think I was bigger than that because that weight was when my then tight pants had started to fit normally.
