Anne ~ sorry this is so late. My mom didn't realize she was in labor with me (thought she ate too much chocolate). She was told she was due in September (I came August 8th). A neighbor lady who was a nurse told her she needed to get to the hospital and she had me 15 minutes later. I too have had fast labors with all four…

Sheri ~ sure have been thinking of you. Hopefully things continue to look up. My MIL is great (so is my FIL) they live about a mile away. My husband loves her dearly (as do I) and I always saw the way he treated her and respected her. My husband and I have known each other since 1st and 2 nd grade. I knew if he treated his…

Just wanted to share with the upcoming mommas, they ask you this as well even if it was a natural delivery and not a c/s.

Lynn ~ great to hear from you! Glad you are doing so well! As for spit up it might be because he is getting a little more air when nursing. Maybe just burp him a little more often during his feeding. Wade doesn't spit up really at all but my first one sure did once she hit a few weeks old. So I believe it sometimes depends…

Carina, I have faith that you and your husband can work through this if you both want to. I went a little "crazy" after 7 years of marriage and was going out to bars and such and I felt like I didn't want to be a mother or wife anymore. One day I snapped out of it and as crazy as this may seem we are stronger than we ever…

So sorry to hear you are going through a rough time. Wish there was some way I could help you. I will say a prayer for you and please know you are in my thoughts. Hugs :flowerforyou:

I think that is wonderful Sheri! I love it when my oldest reads to her siblings. I think it makes her feel special being the only child that can read and in the mean time my others are learning from her. She loves to play school with them too. I never stress the fact that they are "learning" because to me it is important…

Mel ~ I really feel for you. I cannot imagine what you are going through. You said Gabriel seems the most part a normal baby. You must be so thankful the doctors were able to catch his heart problem. I just wonder what would have happened in the future had someone not realized his condition. I too am one of "those" parents…

Oh wow that is a tough question. I just feel so blessed that God gave me such a miracle. I love it when he falls asleep in my arms. Another favorite is when he is nursing and his little hand rests right on me.

Yeah, the first stretch is really nice, it is what follows that isn't so nice. I guess I should be thankful for the 7 hours up front :)

Megan ~ how did Annabelle do in her crib last night? Hopefully it all went smoothly and was a nice transition. Annabelle ~ how are you and your family doing settling into Wisconsin? You moved to be closer to family right? Or did I dream that one up :) We will be heading through Wisconsin a week from tomorrow. We are going…

Guess my kiddos never had the vitamin K shot because I was never asked if they could administer it. Sheri ~ I am so happy you are feeling better. I opted not to take the pill. Since I am nursing and no TOM yet I figure I should be okay. However, I did have a dream that I was pregnant with twins  My mom is a twin but…

How have I never heard of this before? I am assuming none of my babies received it because no one ever mentioned it.

Rachael ~ probably depends on how long you are in the pool. My water broke with my third and I definitely felt and heard the "pop." But not sure if you would hear or feel anything while in the water. I gushed and then leaked for a bit. I got to the hospital an hour later and they used something that was to change color to…

As you know my oldest's name is Eden (love it) and my second daughter is named Lauryn. My son had a hard time pronouncing it for awhile and calls her Lora-lee. It has stuck and we call her that all the time. Will Lorelei be pronounced Lore-uh-lie or Lore-uh-lee? I of course like Edan first  . Then I would have to…

Just got my one hour of Slim in 6 ~ Burn it Up done. My husband watched the kids and let me get it done. Now time to find some lunch. My HRM said I burned 444 calories today. I was happy I was able to push through level 3. I definitely have some work to do because I did take some breaks but I will get there. Hoping to have…

Ronya ~ I am going to still be doing 30 Day Shred on the days I don't have an hour to workout, but I would still like Slim in 6 to be my primary exercise program. Megan ~ I would love some company in doing Slim in 6! It really is a great program, just long, but effective. Julie ~ Your wishes sound reasonable to me. I…

Thanks for your answer!

Rachael and Anne ~ hope you have wonderful showers today and enjoy every minute! Mel ~ hope you are able to get some rest today. I just finished up Slim in 6 for the day. Cannot believe in 50 minutes I only burned 338 calories. I got a new Polar HRM and it seems to be on the low side for calories burned compared to my…

I completely agree with you both. Don't shower with my husband. You all do such a good job with responding to everyone! I am not nearly so good.:blushing: I will start trying to do better. Jamie ~ I have no experience with thrush. Hopefully you and your daughter are better soon. Lynn ~ Fenugreek is an herb and when the…

You are truly amazing! As I read this I see what a strong woman you are and your family is fortunate to have you. I am glad the doctors were able to catch Gabriel's heart problem and I continue to keep you in my prayers every night. Annabelle, I too am curious. I have torn with all of my children. My last one was the…

I have watched a few of the "Swamp People" and you cracked me up when I read what you wrote. I would never be able to understand them without reading the subtitles. And then I also feel sorry for the gators that were just out minding there own business. Eden has done much better today. I think keeping her home last…

Lynn, great job on the breastfeeding. I was one of the fortunate ones. My babies all took to nursing like champs. But I was never one to listen to the horror stories and just relaxed and let nature take its course and they did terrific. My supply is a different story. I am on fenugreek, thistle seed and yogi nursing…

I second this! You are so right Danielle. You are all such a wonderful support system for me, and I cannot thank you enough.

Oh boy we are in major meltdown mode here in this house. Husband works from home and sometimes it makes it hard because he sits here while I discipline and listen to a crying baby in the background. My oldest has really started acting out and I finally am putting my foot down. Time to follow through with punishments…

Sorry Mel, I must have missed something. I had no idea your little guy has had problems. I haven't been on the pregnancy board in awhile so I didn't see any of your other posts. Glad you are home and I will keep your family in my prayers.

I am going to try this once more and then I give up. Okay this is nuts. I just created the account today and moved photos into the album. So how are they deleted or missing? Time to get the hubby to help.

Here is a picture of me from last January. This is what I would like to look like again. I have been so bummed out and feel like it will never happen. Hmm it isn't working. Says photo has been deleted or removed.

Sheri ~ sorry to hear you have been struggling lately. I truly hope stopping the pill helps you out. Please know you sure have been missed. Ronya ~ have a wonderful time with your in-laws!
