  • Good for you!!! No need to feel ashamed here, you're among friends. I know that I have definitely felt embarrassed and ashamed in the past but we are on a path to change that so hopefully you can change that feeling of being ashamed to a feeling of being proud of yourself!!! Good luck, you're going to smash it  XxxX

  • Hi Keyeno, Welcome to the forums, I have only just started using them a couple of days ago and they have already been really helpful. Have a look around at all the different one, you probably find that other people have already asked questions or offered advice on the same topics you're interest in :-) Feel free to add me…
  • That must b tough swimming with your skinny friends! Did you secretly want to drown them? It's ok if you did, i'll understand! Lol
  • Yes they do Colleen!! Good job with your weight loss. I do like to swim cltx but perhaps I meant that I am a slow swimmer rather than not a strong swimmer lol being slow at swimming makes me self conscious too. I do realise that these are all excuses and I am trying to change but it's going to come with time x
  • My motivation is the fertility treatment I can't have until I have a BMI of 30 . Kudo measuring yourself is a good idea because sometimes you lose inches not weight! Auntyfred I'm near Hinckley and I agree brad gate park is lovely! Cltx good for you swimming twice a day. I do like to swim but I am very self conscious and I…
  • Thank you ladies that's really great!! What is everyone doing to lose weight? And how is it going? X
  • Hi, I have always found digital to be more accurate. My doctor uses digital and they always use digital at weight clubs like slimming world but they do have those calibrated. I have never had my digital scales calibrated and find they are a couple of pound out to what the dr says but like Kmandergirl saiys, I just weigh…
  • Stick with it Doris, you'll get there!!! Good luck!!
  • Hi dah, I don't think there is anything wrong with you. It is quite normal to lose a lot of weight in your first couple of weeks, you lose a lot of water, the weight loss will slow down. If you're full then you're full, it's going to do you no good to over eat but 2 eggs and a grilled cheese sandwich isn't very nutritious…
  • I'm thinking about going private. The NHS here is a joke sometimes but I do understand it can be dangerous and the success rate is higher with BMI under 30. It's very frustrating when I go for my check up at the gynae right next door to labour ward and pass all the pregnant women outside smoking or who are so overweight…
  • Tryett your story is inspirational. Very brave decision to have a hysterectomy I think but your reasons speak for themself! My doctor won't give me Chlomid until I reach a BMI of less than 30 which I feel like is the only thing standing in my way now! So here I am on my weight loss journey with you wonderful people!!
  • Let us know how you get on :-)
  • Hi userdloat1, I've read your post and it is true you do have a lot of the symptoms of PCOS but a simple blood test at the doctors will be able to tell you if you have it. I also suffer with the hair, weight gain etc but I do not have periods. I have known I have had PCOS since I was 15 and I have researched quite a bit.…
  • Hi ladies, I also have PCOS, I was diagnosed when I was 15 and I am now about to turn 27. For the past 4.5 years my partner and I have being TTC with no luck and surprise surprise the NHS will not give us the fertility treatment we need until I lose weight but as you all know, losing weight with PCOS is not easy and that…
  • Hi everyone, I'm new to the 'community' section. I keep looking for it on the app but can't work out if I'm being stupid or if it's just not there? Anyway, thought I'd say hi because I would also like some support to lose weight so that I can finally start my fertility treatment after almost 5 years of TTC. I don't know…
