I'm a college student right now, but I'm just a couple years away from becoming a middle school teacher with concentrations in history and math!

I love coffee so much, I use most of my calories for the day on coffee instead of food.

And as others have said before, over-exercising (or in her case, over-exorcising) is often a form of purging, suggesting she may be struggling with disordered eating. The fact that she's being so stubborn about this only reinforces this little theory of ours... Hoping she gets help soon!!

Normally, I'd agree, but as Forest Gump says, "Stupid is what stupid does."
-
Just to clarify, we're not making fun of you because you're a woman. (Have you googled misogyny yet?)
-
I'm studying business law this semester. Need a lawyer?
-
Excuse me. I meant to ask how many misogynists you were exorcising a day. (Seriously, do you even know what misogyny is?)
-
Exactly how many demons are you exorcising a day?
-
Also, there's quite a simple solution to this: stop exercising so much.

Although I don't agree with the name-calling, I'm wondering how it makes him a misogynist??

DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH?!

Some things should never be eaten together... Avocado and chocolate are two of those things.

As a bulimic, I don't know.. I find this kind of offensive? (Plus I wish my binges were as small as five hotdogs, three spongecakes, and a bucket of KFC.)

Seriously? You're starving yourself to the point of losing your period, and you're worried about a peanut butter addiction? Sorry, I think you need to seek help from a professional, not a weight loss forum.

I think many people forget that purging is more than just vomiting. A purge not only attempts to expel calories from the body but also feelings of guilt. Many times purging is used as punishment for bingeing. Any form of compensatory behavior after over-eating and binging can be viewed as a purge. This includes but is not…

I think you forget that we're all animals here... biologically at least. You think a lion cooks his meal up with a nice sauce? Didn't think so.

Ah, yes. She should have just cut herself off a 4oz portion and shipped the leftovers to Africa! :drinker:

Nothing wrong with frozen meals, but I wouldn't recommend lean cuisines for one reason: BLEH. :) I'd go for Amy's, stouffer's, or any other frozen meal. ( I avoid healthy choice; it's pretty bad.) The calories are really no different with regular, non-diet meals. For instance, I think the lean cuisine lasagna is around 320…

Anyway... to the OP: You might be over-thinking this. Weight gain /and/ weight loss are both common side effects, but generally they are caused by other side effects. (If that's making any sense...) For example, the antidepressant might have an effect on your appetite, your energy level, and (hopefully) your mood, but it's…

Yes. I took alli on and off for about a year while I lost over a 100 pounds. However, I don't contribute any of that weight loss to the drug. I was 300 pounds when I cut my intake to 1200 calories, so I'm pretty sure I would have lost at the same rate with or without alli. Also, I'm terrible at remembering to take…

Nope, quite proud of the man actually. I've always despised that Super Size Me guy.

It says that it's a negative calorie drink on the front page, but in another section it only mentions that the drink can help you burn up to 100 calories MORE during your workout routine. So if you were burning 200 calories during your 30 minutes of cardio before, then the drink will help you burn 300 calories instead.…

Well instead of torturing yourself with broth or lettuce, how about you just eat your normal lunch and dinner? Because an extra few hundred calories today is not going to kill you.
