The weirdest thing: the other day I got a kid's meal at Chickfila and it came with a little paper back Franklin book. Is that show even still on?

For all those concerned with sodium: you do realize that 8oz of diet coke has 30mg of sodium. That's extremely low. 100 grams of celery as 80mg of sodium.

My gorgeous calico Sunshine (a girl). My beautiful tabby Dakota (also a girl which is pretty rare for orange tabbies).

Agreed, and he's still banned from the forums!

Not in a million years possible without drugs. Probably not even in a million years with drugs.

There's cayenne pepper pills. Literally just ground cayenne pepper in clear gelatin capsules taken three times a day. Supposedly for boosting metabolism, but seriously, how are you supposed to even measure the results on your own?

It's set at 78 degrees downstairs right now and It's only November. It usually gets bumped up to 82ish in January. You people must be freezing....

Made these for thanksgiving! They were awesome!

Oh yeah, because salt is going to make you lose hair by the handfuls. *Just wanted to add that a lack of sodium can cause some hair loss, but that wasn't what I saw implied by 'watch your sodium' *

Had my gallbladder taken out when I was 16 after losing 100 pounds and developing gallstones. I recovered in about a week (because it was just laparoscopic), and I continued eating whatever I wanted as long as it fit into my macros. I've heard that you're not supposed to eat anything high in fat, but honestly, I've never…

Seen it. Still think it's stupid.

Are you going to juice your Thanksgiving turkey too? And all the Christmas cookies?

I wonder the same thing. I honestly don't think anybody her as natural, normal eating patterns. We're all disordered; sometimes that disorder is enough to qualify for an actual medical and psychological diagnosis. I've met a few people on MFP who are not totally obsessive, and they tend to be in the EM2WL group and among…

Well, have you ever had this problem before? Because if you haven't, I don't even think it's the stride length that's causing it. Might just be a fitbit glitch... I would look back at your previous records, and eat based off of those TDEE calculations if they're more sensible... And then try again tomorrow. :P

Woah baby, that is high. Most I've ever gotten at 5'8'' and 175ish pounds was 2800 for 16,000 steps. Something is not right!! (Though if it were, I wouldn't have a problem eating 5,000 calories. )

Oh my God, are you KIDDING me? Why would he come on the success boards and lie about his success? I was 295 pounds and dropped 9 pounds my first week 7 pounds my second. IT IS MOSTLY WATER WEIGHT. The initial weight loss does slow down! It is extremely normal for those who are obese or morbidly obese (like I was) to lose a…

I just wanted to add that I think that you should go back 2000 calories a day. :) 1500 seems a bit low. You'll still see weight loss, I'm sure. It might not be 8 pounds a week, but you won't have many more 8 pound losses anyways if you're doing it healthy, slow, and safe.

Why not? He/she has 164 pounds to lose; of course the weight is going to come off fast at first. It's fantastic, healthy weight loss with that calorie intake. I wouldn't be so supportive if he/she dropped down to 1200 calories. :P
