  • I hate my knees. I have always had thick legs and it is likely I always will no matter what I weight. That I have come to accept. I, too, do not usually wear shorts or skirts above my knees. BUT, I decided when I started loosing weight to just go for it. I am currently at lunch in a dress that hits mid thigh. Have I been…
  • I haven't been medicated for over 10 years. I only fight mine with diet. I just avoid my trigger foods. For me, I cant have wheat bread, high levels of citric acid, reduced fat milk, spicy food, hot dogs, smoked meat, the list goes on... I have also found that when I eat organic, I am less likely to be effected negatively.
  • $36 - Its 24hrs and I can go to any location. Both are very important for me.
  • That and I am not using it as an excuse for being fat... what I am saying is that I was healthy when diagnosed so unhealthy eating didnt CAUSE my illness. Good for your friend with IBS. It is awesome that she has it under control (whatever that means). I know many thin people with IBS... I am overweight (the term fat is…
  • So I know your not trying to be judgmental about unhealthy people working in the health field, but did you even realize how that was going to come off to people who have the illnesses you listed. I have never in my life blamed IBS on my diet, because its creation is in no way related. Half the time attacks are not even…
  • Cheez Itz or cheese in general...
  • Portion control is the reason I am here! Welcome!
  • I brought a homemade lunch... I never bring my lunch... I never cook... Can I just say, it was quite tasty...
  • I used to use big goals for targets. This time around, I am trying smaller goals. I have little ones, my first goal and then my overall goal. I think I get more excited when I reach a small goal which keeps me going instead of just throwing in the towel.
  • It could be the caffeine in the Coffee and Tea, unless it is decaf. Depending on how much you are drinking and if you do not normally drink highly caffeinated beverages. If I drink a ton of coffee I get shaky. I had a real problem living off of it when I was in my late teens, I didn't care much for sleeping.
  • I am pretty sure mine is Champion but it might be Danskin. I got it at Walmart for around $20. The front is like a normal padded bra, but the shoulder straps have a bit of padding and the back is racer w/ a normal bra clasp at the bottom for added support. The racer straps are also adjustable. I am a 36C and it is truly…
  • I do not... I fall off the wagon from time to time so to speak, but when I come back it is with a vengeance! lol... I have several people who I befriended their first day and have never logged on again... It makes me sad, but I hold onto them just in case...
  • Mine is closed. At first it was accidental, because I didn't know it was automatic, but after reading some of the things people said about not wanting to be supportive of people who dont "eat right", I decided to keep it that way. I dont believe in cutting out food groups. I count calories to help with portion control as a…
  • Personally, I am not on here for accountability, I am on here for myself and if I get added support that's awesome. Not only that, but I have dietary restrictions. Much of the time my diary says Pizza or Pasta with Cheese... I live on carbs and cheese. No one here would think that is good for you. If I stuck to fruits and…
  • I am an hourglass... that will be a spoon it I don't start avoiding my sundae craving... I don't know what my problem is... lol
  • When actively counting, I was eating 1200 and eating my exercise calories... eating so few I don't feel bad going over or having splurge days, for instance Cinco De Mayo consisted largely of Queso. I have a desk job, so I dont every really move. This has worked really well for me... during my trial week at Anytime Fitness…
  • I am 5'3 1/2 and last I checked I was at about 197... I would like to get back down to 140. That is where I was as a Sr. in high school. I might want to lose a bit more after that... I LOVE seeing people out there with similar goals! This is great!
  • My goal is very similer! I am trying to lose by July for my best friends wedding and hopefully keep it off for my health! Congrats on your 8lbs!!!
  • I was not logging in on the weekends. I mean I didnt go crazy, I was still watching what I was eating. I have decided though since I am a nibbler... its probably best if I log in... I care less if I go a little over on weekends but I do think I grab little things less... and I do not count beverages on the weekends unless…
  • I am really into young adult books... I dont know if it is because I am still young enough to relate to them or because I am just really used to them. THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE BEAUTY - Libba Bray ( I loved this book. It is a trilogy so it is followed by REBEL ANGELS and A SWEET FAR THING, possibly not in that order.) I also…
  • Bump - Am I understanding right? Do you get to eat carbs? I LOVE CARBS!
