League of Legends does have a learning curve, but if you go in with low expectations and just have fun, you will likely have some. "Easy to play, difficult to master". A free MMO that I've played a little while now: Lord of the Rings Online. It's pretty solid. I have some characters on the "Landroval" server.

I've been playing with a *very* casual group once a week on Landroval for a few months now. We occasionally play on other days of the week, too, but yeah...

Great thread. +1 <-- software developer, gamer(PC, board, D&D) (currently) Linux C/C++, Java, PHP, ADA, etc. Diablo 3, Lord of the Rings Online, Settlers of Catan, Agricola, halfway through a "Scales of War" campaign with a level 12 Dwarf Fighter.

Picked D3(though I can't stop referring to it as D2 in conversations) up last weekend. Have played a few hours on my barbarian and am now about level 22 and progressing well through Act II normal. It's pretty fun, but I do miss some elements from D2. Oh well. ;)

This kind of goes back to what I said in my first post: you know what you were doing during the first 30 days was working for you. So, instead of counting calories to try to meet a goal, start doing what was work and then count calories so that you can see/record what you were doing before. This may take some stress out of…

I'm sorry for the troubles you've been having. Two quick thoughts: - "Go with what works." I tell myself this all the time and it might be helpful for you. If you saw great success in the first 30 days, then changed what you were doing and seemingly undid all of your progress - try going back to what you were doing. The…

A couple of quick thoughts: - Great job listening to your body and the advice of others in increasing your calorie intake. It seems to be working, so far, right? - Don't let weight increase get you down, or derail your efforts. I have lost 18 pounds in the past 3 months, but some weeks I will gain a pound (or 2) only go be…

Thanks! Looks like a lot of work. :)

double rich chocolate is pretty solid, imo

Thanks for your hard work, so far. :) Hopefully I'll get to the end and be able to say that I reached my goal.
-
Finally going in the right direction... let's see if I can still make goal!
-
awesome progress! Fight through, but definitely take care of those knees!

how's it lookin?

Mix your protein powder in with your oatmeal for something a little different. cottage cheese is a good source of protein, if you like it(I do)

Beachbody has a fitness test that you can take before starting P90X to see if it's right for you. I definitely recommend doing it before ordering. http://www.beachbody.com/text/products/programs/p90x/popup_parseb/p90xforyou.html

Coffee and Tea are essentially calorie-free until you add sugar, cream, etc. My non-water drink of choice has been coffee with 2 tsp of sugar(30 cal). Good luck!

I was down to 192.6 by the end of last week... and seem to have shot up a few over the weekend. LOL. Going the wrong direction so far. I've got my work cut out for me to get to 190 by the end of the month, but here goes nothing!
-
I bet you have more self-control than you think. :) How did you lose 116 pounds the first time without a huge measure of self-control? You can totally do this! You can earn yourself some points at the same time by offering to be the designated driver. If you're drinking "out", just mention that you're the DD to your…

It might help to look at the whole picture. 120 pounds with 30% body fat at 120 pounds with 15% body fat look much different. So, if you continue to work on building lean muscle and reducing your body fat, eventually you will see the results you're looking for without having to drive your weight down "too far".

I am in-process. I completed the first month and then injured my MCL doing Insanity. It has since re-healed and I am doing a P90X/Insanity hybrid. I definitely saw results in just the first week of Insanity. You get out, what you put in. Go for it!

I would check out: p90xcalories.com/ I have a HRM and my numbers are usually pretty close to what that site calculates based on your input. Worth a shot. ;)

I like to weigh-in Monday morning, first thing after getting out of bed. I do this because for two reasons: 1. I am exercising 6 days a week, Sunday is my day off, so Monday morning is when my muscles will be most rested(and perhaps retaining less water) 2. It keeps me mentally accountable over the weekend. Don't weigh-in…

My wife and I are in week 2 of our P90X/Insanity hybrid - it's been great. My only complaint is the length of the P90X sessions... I guess that's the price you pay. ;)

There's a good stretch called "Cat-Camel" or "Cat-Cow". http://www.acefitness.org/exerciselibrary/15/cat-camel I could explain the whole thing, but it'd be easier to just check out the link. I've suffered with chronic lower back pain and this is one of the few stretches that actually relieves some pain for me.

anyone else notice that this guy's hand appears to be on backwards? ;)
-
Fisrt weigh-in - would like to get to 190 by the end of the month.

canned tuna, beef jerky, cottage cheese, cashews. some are less calorie-dense than others, but they are some of my go-to protein sources. shakes aren't a bad idea either. My first tub of whey protein arrived today, so I'll be adding that to the mix. :)
