Hi I just started using Fitbit Charge HR today. I am 29/f with about 80Lbs to lose. I would love some female friends who are also trying to work towards weight loss. My fitbit link is:https://www.fitbit.com/user/3GL8KC

So today I decided on and bought the Fitbit Charge HR :) For the next week I'm going to wear both my Bodymedia Fit Link and my new Fitbit Charge HR just to compare. I've come to learn the Fit Link well so I'm curious how close or over/under the fitbit will be. A new toy is always exciting haha. I've been wearing the Fit…

Thanks for all the input I really appreciate it! I know Jawbone bought out Bodymedia, so to me Bodymedia went out of business because Jawbone is not even similar to them. I am still using my Fit Link but its nearing its last leg so thats why I'm doing some research before it officially doesn't work anymore. I now seem to…

Awesome!!! Any female feel free to friend me. I'm up to logging 510 days straight so far so I absolutely log daily no matter what. June 25th of this year is when I officially started my weight loss journey at 218 Lbs, so far I've lost 16 Lbs. Trying to lose about 8 Lb's a month, my goal weight at this point is 135 LB. I'm…

Your starting weight is only 2LBs more than mine :) I just started June 25th at 218LBs so far I've lost 13Lbs. I think as I near my goal I'll adjust (probably drop it lower) but my current goal I'm aiming for is 135. I know 135 is on the higher end for normal BMI for 5'3"

That is soooo weird you posted this!, I was debating whether or not I wanted to post a very similar post. I was like let me just search and see if n e one has already, and here your post was :) My issues with fear is for me is I started my major weight gain at 16 years old (I'm 28 now) and one of the main reasons was I was…

444 days for me :) For me up until yesterday it was logging everything I ate (no attempt to lose weight). I've just started yesterday got a bodymedia fit link and trying to keep a 750-1000 calorie deficit (lose 1 1/2 to 2 lbs per week). Right now I'm 218lbs 5'3" so my goal weight for now is 135.

I just got mine delivered today :) The size isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I bought it very lightly used for only $62, I figure if I really like it I'll buy the Core 2 when it comes out in September. Spent about an hour setting everything up and linking MFP, and pairing with my iPhone. So far haven't run into any…

I just looked it up and apparently the thing that plugs into the computers usb you pop it in (like it pops into the arm band) and thats how it charges. I don't know about u but that metal band you can buy (pictured) looks like it would cut into your arm and be very uncomfortable. Ill stick with the regular band :)…

As far as the reg core I wouldn't swim with it. It might operate okay for now but where they say it's only water resistant I'm sure eventually the moisture and water will ruin the USB metal connectors and also seep into the device itself.

That's a really good point Scott I never even thought about the charging I'm curious as well! I was all set to buy the link but I just felt like it will be huge and then I know ill want the core 2 when it comes out and don't have $ to pay twice. I wish the core 2 was out now lol.

I'm not sure if its 100% waterproof but I know it's more water resistant than the core. This is because the regular core you have to actually plug in to sync with the computer, where the core 2 will communicate with the iPhone/android app AND computer via Bluetooth. It comes with a plug so if your computer doesn't have…
