For me .. I drink my coffee black, no sweets (actually very little sweets, I will eat a weight watchers brownie now and again) no soft drinks at all .. regular or diet. I don't eat sugary cereals, I don't add sugar to anything like oatmeal or my tea or coffee. For everything else I just read the labels to get a good idea…

Try Diet orange crush .. it's sweetened with Splenda instead of Aspartame. I just gave up pop a week ago. Gaah it isn't easy .. especially since my husband has the fridge stocked with cola. Could be the caffeine too. I used to get that way after drinking coffee many years ago.

I would choose the gym membership. You said your friends are members there so you'd always have a workout buddy. Gyms have other equipment in the event you get bored with the home gym set up. Probably and indoor track as well?

I will look into farmers markets to see what's available this time of year. I think there might be a weekend one that's outside so it may not be open right now. We'll see :) I prefer organic because I have pcos and the fewer chemicals in my food the better. Hard to accomplish since almost everything is packaged in plastics…

I'd go to the gym too. I don't have that option but if I did I think I'd be a permanent fixture at some point through the day.

I didn't have my HRM when I painted. I painted my daughters bedroom, the spare room, upstairs hallway, down the stairs, downstairs hallway, living room and kitchen. in less than a week and had the 24-hour flu in there as well. Makes me wonder what the calorie burn was.

Sadly, I don't do anything (but I probably should .. just don't know what) I'm a stay at home mom and house wife so my days are spent keeping my daughter happy, cleaning house and working out. Nothing glamorous at all.

We have 2 as well. The main family tree and my daughter has her own 3 foot pink one. I'm so glad our cats leave the trees alone. This is their first Christmas and I was imagining them climbing the tree and getting into trouble.

Thanks for the great info. I`m fine in the sugar dept. Salt is usually under 900 .. which seems high? Calcium may be a good option to track.

Those sodium numbers are shocking. I agree .. you have to cut that way back because it retains water and other bad things (raises blood pressure, but you know that). Burn off those calories :)

It's Friday night. Just finished up a little 20 minute workout to end the day (total burn of 956 today), now I'm sitting here watching the Wiggles. Who is jealous? I forget what a social life is like, lol Hitting the shower soon and then get my cozy pajamas on and relax for the remainder of the night.
