I am the queen of binges and am going to see a therapist because my marriage is being affected. I usually go for sweets, but once I get started I can and will eat anything in sight- except for meat :) I only weigh 140 and usually offset my binge with a pretty decent day of eating following day. However, I was on vacation…

Their horseradish hummus is to die for!!! Chickenless pulled chicken, almonds, cashews, peanut butter filled pretzels, salsa, tofu, I could go on and on. But other people are right- the produce IS overpriced. I stick with Jewel or Woodmans for my produce.

I also just read his book and am going to start next sunday. It seems doable. And I can still eat fruit :)

I am currently a pescetarian but was vegan for about 8 months (going to switch back slowly this summer). I don't eat a lot of dairy or eggs. I did a lot of research- 30 day vegan challenge, The Kind Life, etc. are all good books to read. My husband and friends gave me a lot of crap but my family was ok with it since my…

I have a Green Monster everyday for breakfast!!! 1 c almond milk (or milk of your choice), 2 big handfuls of spinach, 1 banana, 1 scoop of protein powder (I use vegan RAW powder) and 1-2 tbsp of chia seeds (optional). Blend, blend, blend!! I also add PB2 (powdered peanut butter with most of the fat removed_delish ) once…

I have been using Fitbit for about a week. I am also confused. For yesterday it said I earned another 386 from excercise. Which was just waking around at work (I'm in retail and walk back and forth in the store all day). I am not eating the calories from the Fitbit, just hte ones I earn from real excercise. I am really…

I have been using Jackie Warner's DVD's. These will tone you but you won't get bulky. The rountines are low weight and high reps with some cardio mixed in. I use these beacuse I don't have a gym membership and can workout at home. My arms look amazing as do my shoulders and back. And I am slowly losing inches on my legs.…

Make sure you do research on a vegetarian diet. You need to make sure you are getting the right vitamins and minerals. I take a vegan pre-natal (not preggers), vegan omega, and a few others. I eat mostly vegan- I have seafood and cheese once and a while. But I think I will go 100% vegan again soon. I just fell better not…

I buy it on Amazon~ $25 vs. $45 at my health food store~ Garden of Life Raw Protein Powder. It is good in smoohies. I sometimes mix it in my overnight oats, but it tastes a little chalky. But it is the only one I will use!!! Try it!

I order a lot of dry goods from Amazon. But I do have a large-ish grocery store near me that sells a lot vegan fare. Check out ohsheglows.com and theppk.com for recipes. Oh, and vegweb.com :0)

ohsheglows and theppk are my 2 faves!!! Cocolate Covered Katie is good for sinful but healthy desserts. Ob-sessed with the tofu scramble from theeppk.com :)

I've been a vegetarian off and on for about 20 years and am almost 100% vegan as of July. I feel better, my skin and hair look amazing, and my body functions better. I made the switch mostly for ethical reasons but also for my health. I read The Kind Diet and The China Study~ those 2 books made me decide to be a vegan. As…

I am vegan so I eat tons of friuts and veggies- that is probably what I spend the most $$ on. My husband is NOT vegan, but recently shot a deer, so our freezer is stocked with venison for him. I make pretty much everything! Pasta sauce, baked goods, veggie burgers, etc. Beans are really cheap as is rice. I make a lot of…

I just transitioned to vegan (off and on vegetarian for 18 yrs) in July. Ok, 95% vegan (sushi gets me everytime)! It seems daunting, but if you do your research you will be fine. THe books I read were The Kind Diet, 30 Day Vegan Challenge and Vegan for Dummies. I visit www.ohsheglows.com on a dialy basis for tasty recipes…

I decided to switch to vegan back in July. I would say I am 95%- having a hard time giving up sushi! It was challengeing at first, and I was relying on packaged processed foods too much. I have found a few websites/blogs that have awesome recipes and now make pretty much everything I eat. I decided to switch to be…

Green Monster all the way!!! 1c almond milk, banana, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 or 2 handfuls of spinach, scoop of protein powder. You can give it a mint flavor with a little bit of mint extract. Or somethimes I add a tbsp of PB2 ( powdered, low fat, low calorie peanut butter). I am vegan and have tons of other things that you…
