in addition you should be eating a little more then your goal weight in grams of protein per day so say 140lb then at least 140g of protein a day.

If you workout frequently then its nearly impossible to go over your protein I am a 5'1" 134 lb female and try to eat at least 130g of protein a day. many people make the mistake of not eating enough protein.
