Someone told me to stay away from Walmart but there's a bike shop in my town ..I will stop by there tomorrow, I think they do rentals too! Thanks for the advice..but what about my knee...I'm hoping it doesnt give out on me while I'm miles away from home :( Should I do strengthening exercises before hand?

Ketones---can indicate you are using stored fat for energy...in the clinic/hospitals . When I see a patient with ketones in their urine..it could mean the pt is not drinking enough fluid/water...which could lead to dehydration (very uncommon in adults..more so in children) We usually encourage more intake of fluids…

I always grab the mcdoubles with no ketchup add mayo..no buns. I also go to KFC and grab 4 grilled chicken wings..I never thought about chick-fli..i may try the grilled chicken tenders! Thanks for the info!

I'm in Chicago..prices vary here...on the higher end! My grocery bill went UP with my dietary changes...this chart is true obviously for some areas in the world..but doesnt represent Chicago for sure. I'm willing to spend the extra for my health..but Many do not have this option.

Same thing happened to me over the weekend. Had a little dressing with my spiral ham on Easter and the next morning I was out of Ketosis!! I also gained a lb! Since Monday I have been eating clean and exercising, I hope I'm back to at least trace ketones on Friday and minus a few lbs.\ Thanks for posting this topic

Nancy..where is Planet Fitness? never heard of them Look at it this way....Contestants on the BIGGEST LOSER were over 400 lbs and doing all sort of exercises...that lady is lazy and retarded. Find you a better gym and trainer!

My calories are 1700-1800 ...I tried to match this with my recommended BMR. I do eat more carbs on days I work out but I'm still struggling that last hr after the workout

He told me to have carbs before and after the workout. I had a bowl of oatmeal yesterday before and a protein shake..I still felt "weird and tired".

My trainer suggested I lower my carb intake and increase my protein. So I'm @ 70-100 carbs a day..but sometimes I only hit 50. I'm eating avocados..almonds, fish, chicken, sometimes beef, leafy veggies on a daily basis
