I have learned a lot about fitness over the years and what works for me. I have also learned that everybody is different. I think what I really hate are all of the commercials on the radio and TV right now telling people that they can lose that "belly fat" by taking a pill, no exercise, no change of diet. OH PLEASE!

HA! This reminds me of my 5th grade Christmas gift exchange. As I got my present, this girl at another desk had her hands folded in a pleading gesture for me not to open the present. I like pet peeve threads! Every time they come up, I think of another one. People who, for instance, go through the drive thru at a bank, but they have issues, that really should have brought them inside. Drive thru "anythings" should be for those who have quick and easy transactions.

I do. When I ride a bike for instance, I can actually burn about 700 calories. If I'm trying to stick to 1500 calories consumed, and then burn 700, I'm only getting about 800 calories, which is called starvation to me! I increased my calories per day to almost 1500. I thought MFP had it way too low. I wasn't losing any weight until I did that 3 weeks ago, and have lost 5 pounds. I'm due to weigh tomorrow, so we'll see how I did this week!

Halloween, the first one. I saw it at the theater with a friend, and couldn't sleep that night. Then, when it was on TV once, my sister and I watched and sat in the same chair, hugging each other and screaming!
