  • I just finished it for tonight. It gets easier, trust me! I hope you get to feelin' better soon!!
  • I'll join! Tonight I planned on startin' again, (I did the first 2.5 weeks about a month ago, but quit because of some other issues) but I'm back! Takin' my measurements, before pictures, and completin' the fit test in just a little bit. You will be exhausted, but it's all very doable!! Good luck :)
  • I had no intentions of wearin' a bra with my weddin' dress, but three months before my weddin' we found out we were pregnant...thank GOD I didn't gain any weight, my belly pushed out a little though, and since I was wearin' a very form fittin' dress, I went to a bra shop and had them fit me with a corset. Worked…
  • I personally don't believe that eating clean is a fad, it's more natural than counting calories and such. I don't like to feel like I am pushing the things I like on others, but this really is a lifestyle change, not a diet and can really work. I encourage you to do research on things that seems like they will work best…
  • Clean eating is eating things as close to their natural state as possible. Fruits veggies, lean proteins, cut out refined and processed foods-sugars, flours and instead use natural sweeteners such as honey, agave nectar, use whole grains. One blog talked about eating things "with one ingredient listed" and if you can't…
  • Hmmph, my dear husband broke up with me through facebook! He didn't send me a message or anything, he just changed his relationship status to "single" which of course I got a notification on my phone that said "Joshua is no longer in a relatonship". I was like say whaaaa??? Then I messaged him askin what was goin' on and…
  • Ok, note that I am in no way, shape or form an authority and I don't have much experience with your situation, but I have noticed on many different forums on this site, and even from fitness magazines, that increasing calories can actually help you loose weight. Why, I don't know, just throwing that out there as a thought.…
  • Hi! My little man is 11 months old, I definitely plan on continuin' to bf until he is a year old, but will probably still nurse him when he wakes up in the mornin' and before he goes to bed at night. until he weans himself :) feel free to add me!
  • If you included that as part of your daily activity level when you set up your MFP account, the I wouldn't log it all all since they set your caloric goals with that level of activity in mind. However, if you choose to log it, I would use a heart rate monitor to track calories burned, and then create your own "exercise"…
  • I'm sorry, but this REALLY bothers me. It's NOT an excuse, it's a reason. When you literally can not make yourself move off of the couch, can not make yourself do activities of daily living, then how the heck are you supposed to just up and make yourself workout, which is usually harder than say, brushing your teeth and…
  • Bump so maybe you can get a good response  at any rate, don't give up!
  • I just went back a couple days, and I am by NO means an expert on this food situation as I am just getting my own eating habits under control, but your diary doesn't look bad. Not to me anyways. Are you drinking plenty of water?
  • 10 dozen large eggs, baby!
  • I can't see your food diary, so I can't really comment as to specific eating habits, but I have been trying to eat relatively clean since I started insanity and in two weeks I have already started seeing results. I am also doing C25K. Changing my eating habits has definitely been key. Opening up your diary might…
  • I know they are there to help you watch your form, but I always felt soo conceited lookin' at myself, but I'm sure that roots back to some psychological issues I have lol
  • This. And as far as calories burned durin' exercise, I wear a HRM. May not be 100% accurate, but it's more accurate for me and the effort that I have put into that workout than estimation used for everyone.
  • It shouldn't have, but this made me giggle. In all seriousness, I have never heard of a correlation between smokin' weed and losin' weight. But i've never had first hand experience sooooo...
  • I'm from good ol Nelson County, but currently in Bedford where the hubster is from. I love seein' all the Va folks on here!
  • I like frozen green grapes. Not only are they delicious, they take me forever to eat, and by the time I've finished eatin' 'em, I'm tired of eatin' and don't over-snack
  • I don't play video games, except Kinect Your Shape Fitness Evolved and my favorite, Nike + Kinect Training. After a month of doin' just the Nike+ Kinect game, my stamina increased with the exercises and I definitely got stronger. I love it!
  • Wow! That's incredible and you look amazin'!!! Your hard work had definitely paid off! :flowerforyou:
  • I do if I'm hungry, I don't if not. To me, forcin' myself to eat if I'm not hungry, even if it's for the sake of gettin' calories, seems counter-productive. I see it causin' more bad "stuffin' my face" habits.
  • I had to pump while still in the hospital, little man didn't latch on correctly until my milk came in fully, and I had to pump to help my body produce milk. We used what I pumped at the hospital to supplement him until he got the hang of bf. I had my husband bring me my pump so the hospital wouldn't charge me for using…
  • Travel system carseat, stroller combos!! Soo easy to use, especially as baby gets older and heavier! Breast pump-Medela In Style Advance Double pump, this is the one I have and I love it. It's easy to travel with. I even pumped in the car while away with my husband for our anniversary weekend, ridin' down the road with the…
  • This! I kinda get irritated when people look at my net calories and are like "you need to eat more!" I eat and if I'm not hungry, but still have calories left, then so be it. Seems counter-productive to force yourself to eat if you aren't hungry, and a way to start back with bad habits. :noway:
  • I weigh myself, every Sunday mornin', right after I get up and pee, and naked :embarassed: Then I don't look at the scale the rest of the week. I've found that by doin' this, I worry and stress less about my weight. Seein' it fluctuate from day to day used to drive me crazy!
