Hi Jason - I'm retired AF Reserves and I know the PT test from personal experience. The running portion is no joke, I've seen plenty of folks fail because of that portion. Your improvement in run time is fantastic!!! Keep up the good work.

Actually, this just happened to me today. Forgot my sports bra. Luckily today was not a running day, but elliptical. Still sucks because after my shower I had to put on my sweat soaked bra. YUCK!!!

Hey There - I was active duty and reserves and married to an Army Reservist for 3 years before we both retired. Please feel free to friend me.

It depends. One of the usability issues of MPF is that if I open a menu and it is below the 1st page, when I exit out to comment, MFP takes me back to page1 and I have to scroll back down to get to the person's menu I was looking at. The 2nd usability issue is that after each comment I have to save, wish I could add all of…

There are always people who will putt others down in order to make themselves feel better. I have no problem with confrontation so I would most likely call them on it and watch them squirm.

just so wrong on so many levels.

I've been going to the gym for many moons and my face still gets red and I still sweat. That is me and how my body responds to exercise. Really in my own little world when I work out and not worried to much what other people think.

I'm a bargain shopper, so typicaly I hit the workout apparel in TJ Maxx and Marshalls. I also am lucky enough where we have some outlets close by so will hit up Under Armour (mostly for sports bras), Nike and Reebok.

Hey There - 48 soon to be 49. Have been active most of my life, but like many previous posts, the same old things aren't maintaining the weight I would like to be. The pounds have crept up on me over the past few years where I am heavier than I would like to be. I have found MFP to be a good tool to track both my food and…

I received mine a few days ago and really enjoy it, especially now that I can sync it w/MFP. What I especially like it the way it tracks your activity throughout the day from steps taken (pedometer), stairs climbed, miles traveled and calories burned. The dashboarrd also provides a pretty neat activity map so you can see…

I work out alot at the gym at work where most folks are professional and courteous. For the most part I am so focused on my work out I really tune out everyone else, so have would have no idea if someone was checking me out. Have to say, when I was in the Air Force and would work out at the base gym it could be intimating…

What a great post, very well said, thank you. By the way, has anyone told you, you look a little like Juliette Lewis?

there are some folks that are just toxic. they have no filter and don't care or think about how their words and actions can hurt others. my only recommendation is to steer clear of these folks and don't let their negative actions drain you. keep positive.
