if you use myfitnesspal's idea of calories you are supposed to eat all exercise calories.. (if say you have a heart rate monitor).. if you dont then id suggest some or half.. or looking up a closer idea of what you most likely burn during your exercise. i personally prefer the tdee method because then its already…

hey! welcome to a new healthier you. you are hungry? did you preplan your day? that makes it easier. also i dunno if you exercise.. but if you do, you get to eat those (or SOME if you dont have a heart rate monitor) too!! you arent supposed to starve. grab some water and make sure you are getting in protein in almost every…

i try not to put dates to it. though, i do find myself HOPING i can get there by a certain date.. only to always fail.. probably because i sabotage or maybe my body just isnt ready for that yet. i have come a really long way and i know that it takes a really long time of repeating the same pounds up and down before i start…

as said above.. mfp is designed that you eat your calorie goal AND exercise calories.

i just want to say you are all awesome and you WILL get there. just keep pushing forward. i know how hard it is to be patient.. especially when you are SOOOOO close. i started at 327lbs and it took me about a year and 3 months i think.

day by day i try to figure it out. losing weight has helped me gain a little more self confidence. i have come so far from something i deemed impossible. i also FEEL better. i have good days and bad days.. i try to take the good days and hold on to them as much as i can and be in that moment. i dont care if i seem…

i tried weight watchers ALONE many years ago. i lost a few pounds. not very much.. and i was CONSTANTLY starving. i felt so deprived. the points just werent ever enough. so then i gave up. MFP, is amazing and i owe EVERYTHING to this website. it is the only thing that has EVER worked for me.. and i surpassed any inkling of…

first off, congrats!! that is awesome. the more weight you have to lose, the faster it usually comes off. if you are eating enough / exercising a reasonable amount then all should be fine. your body is actually going to do what it wants.. you cant really control it. if you have drastically changed some habits like maybe…

in the forums, you have to have a thick skin.. i have been here for almost three years and from the beginning i saw the people you are speaking of which is why i stayed quiet for the longest time. there are ALOT of good people here too.. just look past the negative people.. block or ignore them and go about your business.

most definitely not.. im so not in their league.

hedley - kiss you inside out.. i have had it on repeat for the last 45 minutes.. i apparently just got obsessed with it.

first, i dont diet. i eat whatever i want in moderation within my calorie range. so then if i "crave" something i can have it.. but then i need to have less calories later. if you are too restrictive, then thats why you "slip up". also make sure you are actually getting enough calories in. (if you use myfitnesspal calorie…

music. what about apps? zombies, run is fun to me. its got a storyline and then you can have zombies chase you.. so then you would want to outrun them.

oh gosh so dont lower your calories that low. you would wreck your metabolism and possibly have the opposite results that you want. cuz your body would starve and hold on to any food making it fat because it would be freaking out. use a website like iifym or scooby calculator to get the proper amount of calories you should…

yes. its all about calories in.. calories out. i have lost weight without even exercising. it was all about eating my calories. that is whats important. im not into restrictive eating. i eat whatever it is that i want in moderation and within calories. it has always worked for me. you will learn that some things dont fill…

personally, i am pretty sure i will have to keep coming back. unless i keep changing and adapt to a completely clean lifestyle. maybe i wouldnt log as often.. but i really dont see that happening. i can do MAJOR damage if i dont log. i have 20+ years of habits to change.. so i dont really believe 3 years is enough. but…

sure but considering his profile is pretty empty i doubt he would stay active on here and get deleted..

well we are already friends.. and i dont have AS much to go now.. but i have been there.. and trying to hit a possible 200lbs lost one day.. (if my body and i decide to go that far... never know i might want to stop before then..) but anyways, i have been there.. and i chose a lifestyle change so i am here for the long…

i lose at least 10 a month. people have trouble sticking to it.. i have been here over 2 & 1/2 years. if i became close to the person then i usually send a message asking if everything is okay. sometimes people need to know that someone out there cares. a perfect stranger will even work! they need to know that they matter…
