I use both for bed and they actually agree quite a bit. I use the AutoSleep app on the Apple Watch and I have a FB Alta. I charge the Watch a bit in the morning and at night, I also set it to Theater mode at night (which prevents it from going off in the night too, thereby saving battery).

There was some big diet about 25-30 years ago that used this, I think. Something about "food combining." A friend who was sure that THIS was the answer made me crazy on the subject.

You've had kids! Your body changes. Everybody's fat after having kids.

Can you give us some more stats? Height, weight, gender, exercise level? 1000 calories sounds way too low, whatever your stats are.

Who is THEY?

I've been having a problem with the iOS app for a long time. The website will give me a reasonable number of calories left in the day, but the iOS app gives me a ridiculously large number. I don't know what's gone wrong over there.

The only place I've ever heard of Freelee is on MFP. And I think her "diet" is moronic.

How celebs and actresses (many of whom are not rich enough to have private chefs, full time personal trainers, etc) get so insanely thin: Pressure. You want that role, you keep seeing it go to competitors who are 0 or 00, you get the message. Anorexia. Flat-out no eating for days. And if you do eat something, get rid of it…

I thought I had some kind of sleep disorder after monitoring my sleep via my Fitbit (and knowing that I was still tired in the mornings): how many times I got up, how restless I seemed to be... I was all prepared to set up a sleep study. Then I went to a conference and spent the night without my husband. The numbers in the…

Perfect! A way to walk...without the constant competitive aspect of some other sites. (

I'm with everyone else. Things don't get better from this point on with an alcoholic, unless HE decides to change and HE does something about his problem. It's not YOUR responsibility to change him. He and only he can change him. You need to come to terms with what you want and with what you're willing to accept. You need…

After several days of logging sleep, the app is still telling me "You don't look so good. You need to recover some of your health before you can battle again." I have zero idea what it wants me to do.

So far the Krazy Glue is holding! Yay! Dance of Fitbit joy! (I've only used Gorilla Glue in the past, and that stuff...is useless. At least, it has been every time I've used it.)
-
The strap detached from the display unit. It is great to hear that super glue might work on this...I've wondered if that was safe to do. (I'm supposing it had to have been connected *some* way before...)

A new Force would be great news. I don't want the Flex, but my Fitbit has helped me SO MUCH with this process I don't want to be without one either.
-
My highest was over 40,000...I've done 30,000 a couple of times, but not come close to 40k again.

Every time I try to engage in one of the battle challenges I have or battle a boss, I keep being told "You need to rest." I've done nothing but rest for 2 weeks or more! Coding iz hard.
-
Also, two pounds a week until you meet goal is, um, highly aggressive (to put it mildly) -- depending on how much you have to lose, you might want to aim for one pound a week (which will allow you more food...or at least not to starve yourself) and lose at a reasonable rate.

I'm going to agree with everyone else: there isn't a chance that your workouts are burning anywhere near 1200 calories. I wish it would! I have a treadmill desk and I literally walk 4-6 hours a day! But most exercises don't burn that many, I'm sorry. A simple calculation for walking and running (very, very simple, for…

The screen has been blank the last 3-4 days I've tried it.

Yesterday I did 40k steps and Fitbit said that was about 18.41 miles. I find that walking a mile is about 2300 steps and running a mile is about 2100 steps. For me and my stride. Obviously, everyone differs!

^^^^^ THIS When I switched from trying to figure out net calories vs TDEE - 20% vs less 500 a day to "eat what the Fitbit tells me to for this day," I started losing regularly.

Liking all of this. Thanks. I will give it a try.

Jim: I have to heal before fighting again, but as soon as I'm good to go I'll hit the button. Here are my stats right now: Str: 126, Vit: 123, End: 86, Dex: 70 Weapon: broadsword Armor: hard leather armor Accessories: chain gloves, plated boots.

You can't redo quests? Uh, that's going to be a problem if I don't start winning fights soon, if quests are the only way to get gold.

This made me LOL. Btw, this thread inspired me to eat one of the pints of blueberries I had in the fridge. "Yum."
-
Man, I really have to figure out this battle thing. Must have the wrong weapon or something.

Like I said before, I honestly don't think he was. They hadn't been talking before our little convo, and I'd never talked to any of these guys before, so "arranging" this accident would be a tall order. That said, happier with the other trainer anyhow!

I would mostly be worried about a younger kid losing the darn thing (depending on how expensive it is). If she just wants steps, maybe just a regular pedometer or the kids' version? There's also one for the Wii U system (my son has one).

The part about having an ED makes this whole discussion trickier, and you probably need to talk to your counselor. That said: you're 5'10". You need way more than 1200 calories. 1970 calories sounds in the ballpark. You can't be gaining weight while you're undereating. It's simply not possible, even with water retention.…
