  • I was a Middleware consultant (Weblogic) for a large Canada bank but I quit last December. Loved the job but just too hard having a young family, husband, house etc and a stressful HA job. Now I am a stay at home mom and I love it more.
  • I am 5' 11.5'' with a small to medium frame size and pretty lean right now. I still think I am buying the wrong jeans   . Hm...not much in the boob department so maybe that is it , lol.
  • LOL, this is so true!!
  • I am 5 11 1/2 and I love it. My mom always taught me to be proud of my height. She was 5 6 and always tried to be taller :P (heels and that beehive hair thing that added about 5 inches!) . I remember as a kid finding that hair piece of hers in the bathroom and it freaked me out big time, lol. She loved my height so I never…
  • Hmm....I am 153 lbs and wear a size 10. What jeans are you buying?
  • I completely agree with you. I won't touch this workout. I am only 5'11.5" and know I would have a hard time with this. My club is bringing in a JM 30 minute shred this Fall that I will not be doing :P. If I am going to drag my butt to a club I want more than a 30 min workout class. I already complain to my dh when my Body…
  • Hammer Gel packs.
  • I take a Hammer Gel pack (love Chocolate and Espresso, the Orange makes me gag).
  • Also, it seems to be universally loved by both girls and boys. My DD does not really like traditional video games (Little big planet, skylanders etc) but loves Minecraft. My DS loves them all.
  • My older kids love it to (12 and 9,my 3 year old does not see the appeal yet). I even had to order them T-shirts :P. I was in IT and I don't really get it either (but I don't really like any video game). They asked me to setup a server on my laptop so now they play together in the same "world".
  • Me too, I had no idea. I am going to check it out as well, I get my super skinny son jeans from there. He loves the skinny jeans and I like the price ;).
  • Yes, I got a few things from Costco. Yoga pants for my daughter and a zip up sweater for me. I just got them about 4 months ago, but so far they are holding up well.
  • Yes, ITA. I love the GL classes and visit my gym almost every day. I do Body Pump, Step and Flow. I am going to do RPM when winter hits, I road bike now. I do Body Flow as my active rest and it works out great. I joined up my daughter for their free teen summer membership and do the flow with her. My husband who is a long…
  • I get mine from Costco. I just can't justify paying a lot of $$ for something to sweat in :P. I have been known to cut old track pants and wear them as shorts ;). I really like the tuff athletics brand yoga pants, they even have ones with an inseam size (I am almost 6 feet tall and I have problem getting pants long…
  • Me. I lost 30 lbs. I have had 3 kids naturally and now high impact is not for me anymore. I initially did a combo of Body Pump and Flow but added road biking about 6 weeks ago for cardio. It is amazing and I love it. Body Pump really helped my biking, my hubby, who is a road warrior was really impressed on my first bike…

  • Nothing has changed my ring size...not even my three pregnancies where I got to be 230 lbs +. I am 153 now and they fit the same. I think you will be fine having them fitted now.
  • Ouch!! I worry about stuff like this, I only have a few roads with proper bike lanes around here - the rest are share the road. And car always trumps bike in collisions :P. Glad you were not hurt too bad!!!
  • I love Body Pump and do it at a club (in fact, did a class this morning :)). I also do Body Step (when I don't bike) and Body Flow. I love the routine of it, I do the class with my husband as well so that helps ;). It is a great way to help lose weight and tone up. I
  • 2nd ride this month: Distance: 37.7 km Duration: 1:45 Cal est via HRM: 994 Avg HR: 140 Max HR: 167
  • Also, you might still be able to get last years model. I just got a Giant and absolutely love it. It is a 2012 and I got a great deal.
  • It stopped raining and dried up (yay!) so we were able to get out for a ride. 54 minutes, 24.2 KM, 524 cals, avg hr 142, max hr 168. 125.8 KM left to goal :).
  • Yeah, again, I am not a doctor but it does sound like a rotator cuff tear or strain. I have tendinosis and 1 small and 1 medium tear in mine (ultrasound dx). My doctor said surgery was not needed at this point (yay!) but he did put me on naproxen for 30 days and I am doing physio. It takes a very long time to heal. Doctor…
  • Hi everyone :). I just found this thread and just started road biking this summer. Hubby is a road warrior and loves it. We are from Southwestern Ontario so we can only bike for about 1/2 the year (or less!). I am so surprised on how much I LOVE to bike now. We have some very nice places around (the escarpment and…
  • I was like this until I discovered something I really liked. Now I am obsessed and do a class almost every day. But what you are doing is exercise, just not club exercise.
  • Hey there, I am a 43 year old mom of three (and the last is three :P). It can be done, I am in the best shape of my life at 43 ;). Add me if you like :). MJ
  • Can you try a Les Mills Body Pump class somewhere? They just rock (imo), a good, music driven weight class for any size and age. I don't like to run and this was a great way for me to exercise.
  • Yes!! This drove me absolutely batty! I was always kicking the bottom even after getting the kind with extensions. I am only 5 11 so not even that tall (but legs are long). So glad my last kid is 3 and has been out of the stroller for over a year now.
  • Here :). I am 5 11 (well, 5 11 and a half :P). I am currently 167 lbs right now. Started MFP at 184 but was well over 220 after my third was born. Lost it all and went to a good weight for me of 155 lbs but gained 30 when I went back to work :(. Lost about 15 so far :). Here I am trying to lose the last 15 ish.
  • Made these today and they are quite good. I made a few modifications...I doubled the batch (well, only made it to 20 servings in my mini cupcake pan :P) but used one full egg and one egg white, added extra onions, used low salt StoveTop stuffing (instead of bread crumbs) and added a bit of garlic powder. I put the zucchini…
