I just started an experiment this week - I am picking only meals from the nutrition plan. So far it has worked really well, and seems to have me at a 43/28/29 split, roughly. Staying at 1200-1350 cals, depending. I add a shake after my evening workout. I do better on lower carb, higher fat, myself....

You are killing it !!!!

Staturday!!!! Ok I am frustrated because I actually gained this week. I am back at where I started on the scale. I did have a few slip up days last weekend on vacation, but that wasn't two pounds worth of gain. I do feel poofy though so I am choosing to believe this is water weight. On the happy side I have lost half an…

You rock, and seem like a really fun person! Good job :-)

Congrats! That's not "small" at all! What can you share about what really worked for you?
-
Rant away! I know exactly what you mean! I am extremely fixated on a certain weight (135, prepregnancy) and I've tried many times to let go of the number goal but I just can't! I know I have a significant spare tire of fat to lose, so I am definitely paying attention to my waist measurement- speaking of which I did lose an…

This is fantastic. Thanks for sharing! We should all keep a letter like this around for those "dark times".

You are awesome Meghan!

Looking great! I understand the pain of seeing "that picture" but sometimes it's what we need to see to get going. Good stuff!

Aw you guys look great!!!

ONLY lost 7 lbs???? Dude that's awesome!!! wait until you get to 5,6,7,8. That is when I started seeing major body changes (slimmer arms, legs, abs). it takes 6 weeks for it to really start showing. I take a little longer to transition to the next week, if I feel like I haven't mastered the earlier moves yet. You haven't…

Congrats!!!! 90 days seems a good time frame, any tips you can share, or just patience and hard work?

Still going strong. I can honestly say I couldn't be working any harder. After T25 I pop in an abs DVD and do 15 extra minutes, drenched in sweat. All this is not showing up on the scale yet. Food has been perfect too! Vacation coming up this weekend is going to be a challenge. I am going to keep logging over the weekend.…

Measurements- done! My weight is all over the place. Goal for this cycle is to get my waist below 30 inches. Right now it's 33. It's my problem area! Did alpha cardio on Saturday and loved it. Sunday did alpha stretch, then added in JMBR 9. Got a good sweat! I am going to try and fit in three to four JMBR sessions on top…

CAS- sorry JMBR wasn't doing it for you! I got no weight loss from insanity if you can believe it! This one will be different for us, I can feel it! I've decided to start Monday too, no point in waiting! Brand- I never ever actually make it to 50% protein, lol, it's next to impossible. But I TRY!!!! Probably more like 40.…

Totally, this is me too! My doc is always testing my thyroid but it's not "low enough" to medicate.

Agree. But once your glycogen is low your body has to dip into fat stores for energy. It burns carbs first, if they are available, because they are easier to burn. I don't hate carbs, but weight loss is faster and I am less hungry when I eat at a certain macronutrients ratio. For my, a diet of grains makes me hungry all…

 ...seriously though. Sugar begets sugar. I call it the "sugar train", it's a hormonal thing, once you eat a lot of sugar, your body prefers it for fuel, you have a crash and you want more. Only way to beat it is to do high protein and lower carb, find your own sweet spot that works for you. The "Zone" books are all…
