When I drink coffee, I usually have it with my breakfast. I find that I usually don't feel the need for a morning snack or early lunch. I tend to feel more peckish in the mornings if I don't have the coffee.

Love it! Thanks for posting! Working on another fistful this week... :)

Hi Ashley and everyone else! I'm in the middle of my weight loss journey (but still working on the lifestyle change!). I started my journey with nearly 40 pounds to lose as well. I started mfp with roughly 30 to lose. Have two young kids myself, 5'2" and currently 136.

Agreed. Pro-gun.

These look delicious! I did some blueberry pancakes a couple days ago, but will try this recipe next time. :)

Those Nut Thins sound awesome! Where do you buy them?

Haha, watermelon is great. Just had some the other day. My daughter must have eaten half of it by herself. It's a great treat for warm weather.

I was 23 when I had my first. I got pregnant just a few months after getting married. I now have 2, and they will be turning 1 and 3 respectively by the end of summer. Although I'm certainly glad I may be an empty nester in my early forties, I sometimes miss the freedom of not having kids. As the kids are getting older, it…

Yes. Totally. When we were dating my husband would cook for me a lot. And it was awesome. :) Since you have been dating for a while I think it would be totally appropriate.

Sounds delish! Been wanting some cheesecake. :)

My hubby is supportive of me in my goals. He'll watch the kids for me so I can go to the mini-gym that's part of the apartment complex. He is also overweight and doesn't seem to care. He likes the food I make, but he also scrounges for snacks even if there's leftovers (usually a tub of yogurt from the freezer). He keeps…

My baby is 10 mo. and I'm still bfing. I also have a child turning 3 in August. I'm also 5'2" and 143 pounds (started at 163). Add me if you want. I agree to wait on actual exercising till you get the go ahead from doc at 6 week check-up. I know you want your pre-baby body back but it will take time, be patient. ;)

Puree cooked carrot and cauliflower for cauliflower mash Whenever I do a casserole I put lots of veggies in it (like a tuna casserole with ww noodles, a can of chicken or celery condensed soup, and a ton of veggies such as carrot, celery, broccoli, and potatoes). There's a lot you can do with it. Spaghetti squash is…

I wanted to try this out this morning. I wasn't able to do oat flour but did 3/4 cup wheat flour and 1/2 cup white. I didn't have apple juice so used milk and added a cap full of apple cider vinegar. Also tossed in a scant 1/4 cup sugar and a chopped apple. Delicious!

Call me weird, but I recently discovered my daughter's Apricot baby food is really good on french toast. I imagine it and other sweet pureed fruits would do well on pancakes. :) Healthy and delicious.

It might have been the chocolate whey. Sometimes the flavored proteins are a little weird. I would try making them closer to the recipe first, if adding protein I would use the plain stuff and use actual cocoa. I have not tried these yet but just my quick 2 cents.

Bump... Lovin the recipes. I was just thinking about this this morning. :)

A simple thing I like to do with asparagus is after trimming cook them on the stove in a little water until just tender. Toss with a touch of butter (can omit), lemon juice, and pepper and just a touch of salt. Done in like 5 minutes. Could prolly also steam them instead of cooking on the stove, just don't have a steamer.…

The one time I made it to a Zumba class it was awesome fun! Nobody actually cares if you can do the moves perfectly, most of them probably don't either. It's a lot of movement and I would suggest being close to the front so you can see the instructor (personal preference). Also good to be behind somebody to follow. Good…

Hmmm... for the challenge this week it's supposed to be something we have never tried before... Perhaps we each pick an exercise that has always made us balk and have never done (perhaps something like burpees), or a new veggie to cook (for me I have never done artichokes).

Bump. I don't know much about it, like to see what others say.

Can I be on DEVLe's team?

MFP is just a guide and I would say if you feel like you are eating enough, feel good, and meeting your goals you should be just fine doing what you're doing. Having all those fruits n veggies sounds like you're going for quality and headed to good places. Keep it up!

I like using dailyburn.com. They have workouts that really burn and use little to no equipment. I have learned a lot of bodyweight exercises! It will also estimate the number of calories you burned during the workout. It's great!
