  • These are lovely tips, thanks for posting! I also just love all the cake pics
  • I wouldn't really know, but wondering maybe you can find a place that has a climbing wall? Could be good exercise you could do together.
  • I also have a fitbit! You can add me on there and here if you like. Would like to have more friends on there that also do MFP. Lifting weights 2x a week is better than not at all. I'm not lifting merely because I don't have the equipment nor gym access. I do bodyweight exercises and currently that's good enough for where I…
  • Do a work out before hand if you feel you will indulge more than you think you should. Not only will it offset what you will be consuming but you'll feel great about the workout.
  • Oooh, I totally want to try these! If someone tries them with applesauce let me know. :D
  • Make a coffee creamer. Can either cook up milk and sugar to taste or mix some sweetened condensed milk and evaporated/whole milk or cream. Stick some pumpkin in it, pumpkin spice, vanilla and whiz it in you blender to make it ultra smooth. I don't measure anything, lol. Just do it all to taste and you'll be fine. :) If you…
  • Sweetie, I feel for you. Coming out and asking for help is a great step. My suggestion to you is to talk to your parents, ask for their help. I don't know your parents, but if they are like most, they likely know that you are having issues and want you to come to them so they know that you are open to their advice. Then I…
  • It sure is hard! Lol. I'm still here, kickin around. I just moved and so with the stress of everything I decided to take things easy in the eating/exercise department. Still have unpacking to do, but totally ready to get back on it! I don't have an HRM but I do have a fitbit I use to track my activity. I love it! Here's to…
  • Aw! Sorry you have received so few! Hugs are often not given the importance they bear. Hugs to you!
  • I'm in too! I've already done at least 2 days. :)
  • My goal is to lose about 10 lbs body fat. I wanna look good naked and not worry about a muffin top with anything I'm wearing. I wanna get a flat stomach for the first time ever. I'm currently about 13 lbs away from my goal, but it's flexible. I also want to run a 5k. I know I could do it now, but I wanna train up for it to…

  • Looks amazing and is making me hungry while I eat breakfast! I will get what I need during my next shopping trip! :D
  • I think I have a sensitivity to gluten myself. Been experimenting with various flours. It can be tricky. Thanks Kasey for posting those links, gonna check them out. :)
  • This sounds fun! Maybe I'll see if uhh can find my girls' jump rope. If I can't it will likely be tag with my girls. Don't know if I'll be able to get a pic of it per se but I'll see what I can do. :)
  • MFP SW 156 FSC SW 134 W1 : 133.2 W2 : 132 W4: 133 (retaining, weighed in at 131.2 Sunday) I totally feel it.
  • Sorry I haven't been participating on the boards lately. It's been crazy. My challenge was to get at least 10k steps in everyday. I generally exceeded this, averaging 12-15k. I made one day 20k!

  • Finish Line (week 12) Weight goal: Lose 12 lbs Fit my goal dress. I lost my measuring tape, but this would definitely show I lost the inches! Week 1: Weight goal: Weigh 133.6 (1 lb loss) Nutrition goal: No gluten for the rest of the week (have a sensitivity driving me nuts!) I did a challenge back in January where I went…
  • Hi all! I joined MFP about a year and a half ago, just before Christmas. I was 156, down from my high of 163. I'm 26 and a petit 5'2" so finally into a healthy weight at 137, which I reached a year ago. Currently weighing 134, up from my low of 127 in January (I'm so mad at myself for gaining from there, I was in such a…
  • I just got a fitbit one last thursday. Loving it! I'm focusing on getting at least 10k steps a day, want to build up to 20k at least 3 days a week. I plan to get the steps in through walks with my kids and dancing. I am also doing workout videos when I can squeeze them in during times my toddlers won't interfere.

  • MFP SW 156 FSC SW 134 W1 W2 W3... I've fluctuated within the same 10 pound range for the last year (was 137 a year ago, got down to 127 in January). I am so ready to toss this extra weight! My goal weight is 115-125 (depends on body composition and how I like it). I've really struggled with getting a good routine, but I…
  • That sounds so delicious! I will definitely be doing that one! :) So many great ideas on here! Thought I would bring up that some people actually grill avocado (haven't tried it yet, want to). Just slice in have, grill with the skin left on, start with the open side down and after a few minutes, flip. I don't think it…
  • I usually get extra hungry within a week before my period. Usually chocolate. I love dark chocolate! However, I understand that the chocolate cravings come from a need for more magnesium, which can be satisfied with squash or peanuts. I will usually allow myself some indulgence, but it takes some willpower to stop once…
  • Looks awesome! Now all I need is some nutella! :)
  • I'm gonna be trying this too! Sounds great, I love the add in ideas!
  • I hear you. I'm at home with two toddlers and no car while hubby works and goes to school. We don't have the money for a gym or childcare. I am just trying to really get back into it. Been doing it half heartedly the last couple of months with personal issues. I find that it's easiest for me to exercse once they go to bed…
  • Good for you, getting back into it! It's challenging and you inspire me (have two toddlers myself! ). With your current stats and how much time you have to train, I say go for it!
  • Good for you! Love a quick loss in the beginning to spur onward!
  • So, she is eating it as long as you feed her? Does she give you any other issues than that? Personally, I think you are lucky. My 3 1/2 year old makes just about every meal a struggle... she will look at something and flat out say she doesn't like it and refuses to try it. So just about every meal (not so much for…
  • You could check out paleo cookies. I'm not paleo, but recently did an ignite challenge... and basically if it was paleo I could have it (within reason). Had a lot of fun finding healthier versions of stuff that I craved. And one thing I learned... tricky though it is to cook with, coconut flour is the bomb. Only need about…
