Thanks for the advice. I did manage to not overeat tonight and I credit my daughter for standing up for me. For me personally if I eat a lot of yummy yummy carbs then I want MORE, MORE, MORE! I crave chocolate and salty sweets and even after I get them I'm just more hungry. The benefit of me going low carb and cutting out breads and all that yummy goodness is that protein and fats fill me up and I don't want any more food…

I really appreciate this thread! Just started a bread, gluten free diet today and joined MFP yesterday. I'm mostly getting my carbs from fruits, veggies and OJ for the next couple of months to see how that works for me. Thanks for sharing your low carb benefits!
