I'm pretty into electronic music for my running. pop mashup artists that I like are Girl Talk, The Hood Internet (mix tape 4 my fav), and Kap Slap. You might like them.

Its a cultural thing. Among my friends, Asians are the only people who will greet me hello, and then in the same breath comment on how I'm getting fat. They don't say it to be rude like you'd expect, more that like 'hey you should be careful'. *source: I'm half Chinese*

For long summer runs I use a belt with two little bottles, and try to run a path that eventually hits a water fountain for refills. I couldn't imagine running with much more than that, sometimes I see people with like 6 giant bottles attached to their belt. I don't get it.

Hi again, I'm back after a long break. Had knee problems from running, and then got lazy and fat over the last few months. BUT summer is back, and I'm back on the pavement! You might spot me running home from work along the canal.

I've only done two. The army and then the race weekend. My training plan wasn't that fancy yet. Since I do the 5k to work and back, I figured I would start by extending my Tues and Thurs runs home an extra 5k, and then do light weight training on MWF. Once I get comfortable I would change my schedule around to allow one…

I workout and aim for 1500 cals on weekdays. Weekends I drink heavy and eat whatever. Slows progress for sure, but I am happy doing it

dont bother with grips. unless there's a solid couple of inches of snow consistently everywhere, they will just hurt your feet. you can run on snow and ice without killing yourself, just keep an eye out and take shorter steps.

Ottawa got hit with 30cm of snow, so I did the only logical thing. Dressed up like Santa and went running in a snow storm.

race the way you train. dont try different race tactics and dont eat anything weird or new day of the race (like a new energy gel).

the weight will come back only if you break your exercise and diet habits. going off youll probably notice a change in hunger and energy. try to stick to what you were doing before and there should be no change in weight

No joke, their men's underwear are like the comfiest thing I've ever worn. expensive but worth the treat. I laughed at my friend for owning a pair. Now I own two myself. and occasionally I get asked "are you wearing neon orange lululemon underwear??!" and I reply "dude you have no idea how great my balls feel right now."

I think its just a matter of practice, this is my first winter and I've been running steadily. You can also buy really thin face masks that are designed to help with the cold air.
