  • You might want to try doing some isolation moves first to activate your pecs. Try a set of cable flys before bench.

  • Maybe you should try doing a keto diet. For me I just do not lose weight if my carbs are over 100g. I stay close to 50g if not less. Some people are able to handle a diet with more carbs, but most people cant without even knowing it. Good luck
  • great group I have been looking for a place to post my PR's. I have not worked out for 4 months due to work but yesterday I hit a 495lb. That is great but i am still 90lb away from my PR that i hit last year. I have a long way to go with all my lifts to get back to where i used to be.
  • I would get rid of the belt. I think they are more of a cruch then anything else. then i would have just pushed through with a sloppy rep. I think one sloppy rep is just like getting a spot on a bench press. Another thing you could have done is dropped the weight take a 30 second rest then try the lift again. Happy lifting
