Hi, there! I turned 58 in May, and I’m determined to be in peak health by my next birthday. In 2013, I lost 32 lbs on MFP, but gained it and about 30 more back. I started logging again this week, and am down about 8.5 lbs from last week. I’d love to have you as a motivational friend here.

Great news on your retirement! I’ve been retired from the Air Force for 15 years and sadly, for me that’s when I start spiraling upward on my weight. I just need to get off my duff and off my phone! Feel free to add me as a friend!

Hi, there! My loss/regain was a bit earlier than the pandemic. I lost 32 lbs on MFP in 2013, got down to 120, and have gained over 60 since 😩. I just started back today, and would love some encouragement.

You look amazing...good for you!

Wow, I think you've made amazing progress! You look great. I'm not sure what results are typical for that program, but you should be proud of what you accomplished and go for another round if you think you might get more definition on your abs. Good luck!

A bit TMI, but he stepped up to change our 2-year-old daughter's diaper, knowing she has a stomach virus and some nasty stuff going on. He's pretty weak-stomached about that sort of thing, and I don't mind it at all usually...but he knew I was getting overwhelmed and offered. I declined, but it was very sweet of him to try…

I'll be 49 in May, about two weeks after my daughter turns 3. She keeps me going , and I wanted to get the weight off so I could keep up with her. I'm only a couple of pounds from goal, after almost a year of actively logging (27 March), and it really hasn't been too hard in my opinion. Just keep logging and keep your eye…

Maybe you could have a portion of your planned dinner a bit early, or eat some extra veggies now, or drink lots of water/no-cal liquids to stave off the hunger? Or eat something relatively low-cal and work it off? Best of luck!

Great job...congrats!

You look terrific...and happy!

I'm 5'4" and started MFP this past March at 152. I'm at 122 now (up from 120.5 last week), and my goal is 120. I think I could probably go a few pounds lower without looking too gaunt, but I really would rather just get in a bit better/tighter shape than I am right now. I'm almost 49, with a 2 1/2-year-old daughter, and I…

Candy Apple, just make the IMG lower case, and your pix should be fine.

I'm 5'4", started here on MFP on 3/27/12 at 152 lbs. After eating not so clean and exercising some, I've lost 30 lbs so far...2 more to go, and it's been slow going the last few weeks. I've never posted photos on here before, so I've got my fingers crossed that they're not huge. The first photo is me with my daughter at…

I use 2 cups of baby spinach, about a cup of grapes, blueberries, cantaloupe, apple, whatever I have, 1.5 cups of unsweetened almond milk, one scoop of vanilla whey protein powder, 1 tsp chia seeds, 2 tsp ground flaxseed, sometimes a half cup of greek yogurt, and about 5 ice cubes. It's a huge glass and keeps me full for a…

That is an amazing difference...congratulations!
