One time when I was back home in India about 10 years back I put on oven mitts (they hadn't been used in months because we never really used the microwave oven) to get something out of the microwave and about 20 cockroaches fell out of them all over me and some 10 of them flew everywhere including down my clothes. I…

Since I can't afford to keep buying new clothes, I usually go to a Chinese/Indian tailor who alters clothes for a very small price and wear them till they fade/tear/look old. Underclothes you cannot help. Gotta throw them out after they get too big.

Tried it. Hated it. Would not recommend it.

Yes yes I agree! Like I said, men just look at me now with jealously and disgust and women just cringe.... I gots to do only cardio from now on!
-
Yeah if you wanna get all skinny and ladylike, all you have to do is wear super tight corsets and stop eating and just take the stairs! Lifting heavy might break your nails and ugghhhh it makes you sweat too!

I'm gonna put some lovely glitter on my pink dumbbells. When I walk on the street, men look at my muscles jealously but with disgust and women just cringe... I knew I should have just stuck to plain 'ol cardio
-
Then I probably shouldn't throw out my pretty pink dumbbells?
-
I don't have them but I'm looking for a pair too and I found this website which has reviews on all sorts of running shoes. Check it out, it might help. http://www.runblogger.com/2009/02/minimalist-running.html

Cucumber mint water! Slice up the cucumbers and throw in some mint leaves with water in the biggest jar you own and refrigerate! You'll have cold cucumber mint flavoured water to drink all day long!

When I need a fast meal and I'm not feeling very imaginative, I sauté all the veggies I have, diced up sausages or chicken or whatever meat I have and some garlic in a little bit of vegetable oil, mix in some spaghetti sauce or soy sauce or any kind of seasoning I find in my pantry and mix it up with some cooked rice or…

Listen to your body... If you feel very very tired and sore even after a good night's sleep and feel like you need a break, take it. If you feel nervous about taking a break, just go for a long walk or a short jog or do a little bit of callisthenics at home. Don't push it because you might injure yourself. I take a break…

Your results are amazing! Congratulations for being able to keep it up for 30 days! Your pictures are very inspiring. You should also post them on this thread. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/696630-your-thoughts-on-the-30-day-shred?page=3

I started this 2 days back and I think its pretty good! Since I already do a lot of cardio and strength training anyway, it was quite easy frankly. If I was a beginner, I would have loved it! So I decided to do the level 1 video twice for a total of 45 mins. It kicks butt if you do it twice! I think it does definitely…

Oh I hate this thread!!! I don't know why I saw gifs and pics I saw. I've had a fear of rats coming up from the toilet while I'm peeing ever since I saw it in some movie and now this!!!:noway:

Also, Fart heavy. Try and blow away 20lb dumbbells with each fart. Farting light and displacing 2lb pink dumbbells is not enough.
-
I find that the results are better after eating Polish sausages. Not only 1000 cals burnt but instant privacy too!!
-
Yeah I switched to the Dove soap bar and the difference is huge! My skin does not feel dry any more and sometimes I don't even need moisturizer for my body.
-
I do! My biggest meal is always dinner. Usually between 500-1000 cals. Even if I've eaten a lot during the day. I even eat in bed sometimes. Its completely alright. What time you eat is really not important. You could have your entire day's calorie limit in one meal and it would still be ok. Don't worry about it. Just…

Not my business, is it? I'll have an actual opinion about it when I have a child and she/he turns 10.

Go to the bodyrock website and search for the May 30 day challenge. They have beginner, intermediate and advanced level workouts for that month. They're all pretty good! The workouts are pretty hard but the results are amazing! I did the May 30 day challenge and totally loved the results. I realize many people prefer…

If you go to allrecipes.com, it allows you to change the number of servings when you go to the recipe page. Once you put in 1 serving instead of 10, the ingredient amounts automatically change to reflect the changes you made to the serving size. I've used it a lot to make fewer servings than the recipe called for.

This is the kind of box I had. No pictures on them, just 3 boxes for 3 separate food groups. http://www.kegworks.com/images/detailed/TGWSS-003-tiffin-food-B1.jpg

This! You're so right! You just have to realise at some point that there's just so much out there to accomplish! All this stuff that people say doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. I honestly feel that people who say mean things because they can, are put in your life to make you stronger and give you thicker skin…

I can't run continuously for more than a few minutes at a time. I walk and jog intermittently. When I see people jogging outside, they never seem to stop! I feel like everyones staring at me when I keep stopping every few minutes/seconds. So I don't bother running outside. Also, concrete roads hurt my knees and I can never…

I love love love Zumba! Its my 4 times a week cardio! I made my husband try it out last week. He's in much better shape than me and he lasted only 30 minutes. Zumba is NOT a low-tier exercise! No way! My HRM says 700 calories burnt in an hour. I have to give most of the credit for that to our instructors. My gym has some…

It took me about 2 months but once the changes in my body started to show, it got better and better pretty quickly. I put on almost 7-8 lbs in a month but that was only water weight from starting a new exercise program. It went away eventually. Every time I increase the weights or the intensity of weight training, I put on…

Here's a salad dressing recipe I got from the Michael Thurmond Diet book. Cucumber Vinaigrette 1 cucumber diced Handful of parsley Handful of cilantro (optional) Ground pepper 1-2 tsp Lemon juice 1 tsp white vinegar Salt free Dijon Mustard Put all the ingredients in a blender except for the lemon juice and vinegar. Add…

I remember being called monkey face because I used to be an ugly child. My close relatives used to say to me, "You better be really good at school because lets face it, no one will ever pick you for your looks." I was born dark skinned in a country that is obsessed with fairness/paleness, so I got all sorts of comments…
