I've had shirataki noodles which are a tofu noodle. I gave them to my boyfriend and he didn't make one complaint. The texture is a little odd, but put some pasta sauce on it and you're golden.

I feel truthfully that we are not well informed when we become parents. I'm not a parent, but I am a teacher. I was horrified to find that so many parents do not read to their children, but who can blame them if they don't understand the benefits or purpose. It's the same with activity levels. It requires a lot of effort…

This is WTMI Read at your own risk I have stomach issues, and recently I was suffering from a specific stomach problem that begins with the letter D for three weeks. I bought a blueberry smoothie from the supermarket and it was the first thing to make a difference. Apparently berries and blueberries in particular are good…

Water always seems to be a topic of disagreement. Many say that we can get our needed water from everything we eat and drink, but personally I feel a huge difference when I drink 8 servings of water

What percentage of the population doesn't have a roll? But it makes me want to scream. It's probably what upsets me most and I really don't know how to dress to stop it. But on the other hand, I was getting ready to go to a BQ for my BF's friend's birthday and I was freaking out about my pants and the rolls. And when I got…

Truthfully diet pills are primarily a stimulant. It helps you burn calories because it increases your heart rate. And I'm sure we'll all agree that we don't feel like eating a hero while we are exercising, so while your pulse is up it your appetite is slightly decreased. I find that it was always a placebo for me making me…

I find that also. While we assume it does, I really don't think mfp takes all of the factors into consideration and I know the machine doesn't. I just got back from the gym and the bike said I burnt 300 calories while my HRM says I burnt 650 (I round down seriously though).

Wow, I have absolutely no idea. Are you going much slower when you put it on an incline? Because then it wouldn't really be a strain on your heart so much as your legs.

Congratulations! That is so amazing!

I agree with SkinnyTime - you can always modify. With meats you can always measure your own portion, limit sauces. And it won't kill your fam to eat some healthy vegetables.
-
You most likely wouldn't because it's not traditionally considered exercise. You could try using a heart rate monitor during it.

Those exercises are seriously there? Hilarious!

Yeah they're great. I would make an investment in a scale though. Sometimes "medium" is a confusing word. I got one for $10 at CVS best investment I ever made.

It's kinda like using a sauna. Your body does have to do extra work to keep your body temperature down, so sweating is good! Just hydrate!

I can't get over how bothered people are by seeing multiples of posts. Get a life if you don't want to constantly read the same things. Not to mention that you really can't make conversation on old posts because no one reads them, and the search function sucks. Get over yourself
