Only reason I cut bread is because I would rather use the calories elsewhere. I just make a meat and cheese rollup or dip my brat in mustard. Only time i don't cut the bread is for pizza cause...pizza! But if I can trim it out, then I do.

Are you eating at home or at work? I am a SAHM and i personally like to have a turkey cheddar brat, no bun and a puddle of mustard, some chips or pretzals and some fruit for lunch. Yeah, its just water retention. Typically that happens after heavy drinking. So long as you keep it within maintenance calories, it will dissapear.

I buy the next size down of my every day jeans and periodically try them on to see how the fit is. i don't really wear them out and about until I like the way they fit (no muffin tops please).

I rarely log excersise unless its one i know that did significant burn. I am not overly active some days so I figure it evens out. People that see you every day won't notice as quickly since its a gradual change, but people that see you every once in a while will notice more quickly. Its usually around 20 lbs that people notice.

so you get some transitional clothes..no biggie. Hit some consignment stores, goodwill and clearance racks to get enough to get you thru till you are done. I do vote for getting one pair of steller looking jeans or pants the fit right.

5'2 here and am around 160 and wear an 8 or 10. My waist to hip is a 12 inch difference, so when it fits in the waist, its pretty tight in the hips and butt area. I am comfortable with this though. I have a 30 inch waist and 42 inch hips. Sadly I do not have a 42 inch bust :(

I'll second the weekly not daily. I like to save up my calories for the weekend when I tend to be outside my week routine with the kids and man home. Then if I splurge with them on the weekend and go over for the day, my weekly still comes out good.

Heh...I have seen those super dark colors the day after heavy drinking. I drink a crappot of diet dew during the day then after 5 i have 4 or 5 glasses of water (48 to 60 oz).

It takes me 3 or 4 days to get it off. Then i'll hit what I was before the drinking and the next day i'll be lower and on track.

I went from a 9 to a 8, sometimes a 8.5 with 45lbs lost (and down from a wide width to a normal). Its possible with a large weight loss to drop a size or so in shoes.
