  • I have that prob too. I find that Silver Suki jeans fit the best. They leave room for hips and bum but are fitted in the waist.
  • I have a fitbit and i think its set to sedentary.
  • I have a goal of 10k steps a day. Depending on how busy I get at work it will log some of it as excersize. I routinely hit my 10k, but there is a 100 to 300 calorie variance that happens depending on how many flights of stairs and how much of it actually got my heart rate up. Usually i start to get an adjustment around…
  • I am 5'1.5 and am at about 155 right now. My measurements are 36-29.75-42.5. My 29 jeans in my fav brand start out a bit tight but fit nice with a bit of wear...my 30's start out fine and are loose after a bit of wear. Oh and I am 42 yo. Hoping by the time i get down to 135 i will be 36-27-40. I hold alot of my weight in…
  • Measurements are the way to go to help when the scale is not moving. I have not lost more then .2 in the last week and a half, but am down .5 inches in the waist and .5 inches in the butt/hip area. I'll take that as an encouraging sign.
  • Patience is a virtue. I would be fine with a mediocre body after being overweight/obese most of my life :) I have accepted I won't have big boobs and a skinny butt like my best friend, but I have a tiny waist compared to her and curves in the hip/butt area that she does not have. Some of it is just accepting and loving the…
  • When I first started it was to be in the top of the healthy BMI. Still have not reached it but, over time it is also how my clothes fit and measurements. At 5'1.5 i am currently at 158 and am 36.5-30-43 wanting to be at 135 to 140 (large frame) which HOPEFULLY will put me at 36-28-40 or smaller. I always have a 12 to 14…
  • When I was 155 I was in an 8 of my fav jeans. I am hippy/butty, so there are certain types that did not fit, but if i could get them over my butt, they gaped horribly in the waist. I figured at 145 I would have been in a 6 of them, and would be able to do any 8, and some 6s.
  • Where I have stretch marks I notice the skin is not bouncing back as well. I still have 20lbs to go, but from what I have lost, certain areas are definitely not going to be taunt and smooth. It is what it is. The only way to fix it is to go back in time and not have gained the weight in the first place :)
  • The only one I can think of having said anything about me losing more weight is my husband. He met me, married me and had 3 kids with me all when I was significantly heavier then I am now. At 5' 1.5", my frame is not dainty. I have a broad structure, wear large wrist bands and such, so maybe that helped 'hide' it a bit. My…
  • I tend to see where i am going and check out the menu online, and then decide what will fit in the budget that I will enjoy.
  • I think its a fantastic idea. I have been punting it around in my head that I need to lay off the beers till I hit my next goal. I don't go out often, but when I do, I over indulge and the next few days are shot for exercise and for logging. It also takes forever for that waterweight that I gained that day from over…
  • actually, it does not take much feta to get a good flavor, and i use the real bacon crumbles so its the same amt of calories ish, but much better flavor. At home is where I do this, and I don't use a bun at all. Its when I am at a restaurant I take the top bun off, cut the burger in half and double up so the bottom is the…
  • I cut out alot of bread, but still consume it occasionally. The only reason I cut it out was to trim out calories and leave room for other foods I enjoy more. You cut out 140 calories when you just roll the ham around cheese, pickles and mustard and leave off the bread. I also take the top piece off a hamburger or have…
  • I must have super cool pickles then cause the amt I use according to the jar says 0 for calories.
  • mustard and pickles..but they don't have calories
  • Being raised on good, homestyle country cooking but being an indoor, just wanna read a book kinda kid. I never really learned proper portion size, dessert was always served after lunch and dinner. I liked tasty food, and did not realize the calories in calories out mentality. In college, beer and late night munching added…
  • Heh...I am one that sends stuff with my husband to get rid of at work. Accidentally bought a thing of unsalted dry roasted peanuts which my family all exclaimed "gross, why would you do that!!". So I melted some chocolate and some peanut butter chips and covered the peanuts, and sent them to work with him. I love the…
  • Not sure about diet coke, but diet mtn dew has 5 calories in a 16.9 oz bottle. Drink enough of them and it adds up.
  • Suki Silver's are one that I like as well as the Maurice's kaylee fit. I have the small waist big hips and these don't give much of a gap at the waist like most others give me.
  • I am just shy of 5'2" and my wrist is 6.5 inches. At my heaviest 50+ lbs ago, it was 6.75 inches. One does not lose much around the wrist. I doubt I will lose much more in the next 15 to 20 lbs from around my wrist. I really do think I have "large bones". My neck is 13.5 inches btw, but don't think that has much to do with…
  • Personally I am not a breakfast person, so a granola bar works well for me. I do 140 to 200 for breakfast, around 300 to 400 for lunch, then have a small snack in the afternoon and the rest for dinner. This is what has worked well for me. The majority of my calories are consumed at dinner since that is the shared family…
  • They will fade, but they are a part of you now, just like freckles or a mole. It wasn't till I lost quite a bit of weight that I found out that each of my pregnancies REALLY did a number on my lower stomach. I knew there were strechmarks there, but holy cow, my lower tummy will never fully recover. I have strech marks…
  • I take a break during "special occasions" that I don't want to or am unable to track. Girls weekend a few weeks ago...no logging done. I had fun and tried to make better choices. Going to my moms for a weekend, I have no idea what she is going to plan on fixing or even what goes into the stuff she does prepare. I just make…
  • Mine is supportive..proud even. I was over weight when we met and kept gaining weight over the years. He says he is lucky that his wife just gets hotter every year. That being said the ((*(*&)&^ bought me this white chocolate brownie while we were out at some festival, and had this look of look at me i did so good i got…
  • I like daily weigh ins. It helps me to keep on track with my eating, but I do realize that there is one week where its going to be all wacky and If I go out drinking, the next several days are going to be me shedding water weight. I only record my lowest reading. When I stray off course (most of the summer cause..camping…
  • My husband would freak if I got down to 110. He was actually worried when I said 135 (his words, please don't lose your butt). I think some of it has to do with the frame size too. A small frame person can do 110 but a larger frame person would not look the same. I personally have 6.5 inch wrists which indicates a large…
  • 5'2 and 153. i actually use Lose It for the food and its set to 1 lb a week at 1400. I have it down as sedentary and do not eat back exercise calories (but I don't do anything hard core). I think for maintenance I will be around 1800 calories. I figure I go over and under often enough that it will even out. I tend to lose…
  • It takes me a week to get back after just a weekend of over indulgence. We had a girls weekend last week and while I did not go overly crazy with the food, the beer consumption was high. Hopefully tomorrow I will be back down to what I was last friday and am 1 lb from it. On the bright side, we did ALOT of walking, so I am…
  • My family tends to be on the larger size. Every holiday or get together there is a TON of yummy food. As a kid, i was chunky but not way over weight, and as a young adult I just ate whatever and did not think twice about it. College is where I really packed on the pounds. Beer, late night munchies with friends, beer,…
