Like anything, it is all personal experience/opinion. I have been using my fitbit for 2 months now and when it almost fell down a crack in a bridge the other day, I had to truly contemplate whether I would get another one if it was lost. The answer is YES, I would truly miss having it and spend another $100 on a…

That was fun. The 6 lbs. that i lost overall for the month helped me get into a smaller size than when I started. Looking forward to another challenge for April. Great job, everybody! SW: 192.2 Wk1: 190.2 Wk2: 188.2 Wk3: 187.0 Wk4: 186.2

NSV: My jeans and pants that I haven't worn in 2 years (since I was training for 1/2 marathon) are back in action and two pairs are already loose! 5 more lbs. and I will be shopping for another size. Can't wait! Only a two sizes to single digits, which is my 2012 goal. Sign me up! CW: 186 GW: 181 (end of April) Weigh in…

7lbs. in a month is awesome! I think if you aim for 10, and you only get 6 or 7, it's working. Good job!

Popcorn or Quaker rice chips.

I roast them with asparagus, onions, and grape tomatoes. They are so good. I added some beef from a roast and had it for lunch today. The roasted tomatoes give it enough moisture that it's almost like a sweet stew. I could give up white potatoes for sweet potatoes and yams. So much more flavour!

Congratulations on this huge accomplishment! Our weight and goals are almost identical. My start weight on Jan.4 was 204 and I am down 18 lbs. with hopes to hit the 20lb. mark by the end of March. My original goal was 165 too and just yesterday I was thinking that I may be going past that at some point. I also have two…

SW: 192.2 Wk1: 190.2 Wk2: 188.2 Wk3: 187.0 5 lbs. lost so far. Not anticipating another 5lbs. by month end, but will step up my cardio this week and see if I can get close. Looking forward to doing another challenge for April. Zumba classes start and the beginning of my biking season too. Bring on the Spring!

That sounds about right. :drinker:

I think it's more about the calories than the alcohol. My favorite time to drink a nice glass of red wine is after an evening cross country ski or Zumba class. As long as I have the extra calories, it's a great treat after a good workout. I always make sure I have enough calories left to consume any treat, whether it's…

Down 4 lbs. thus far, but this week has been a challenge to get in exercise, due to persistent migraines. On a brighter side, I pulled out a pair of jeans that I haven't zipped in a year (without the stretch fabric) and they fit! That's enough motivation to keep me on track and get rid of these last 6 lbs. by the 31st!

SW: 192.2 WK 1: 190.2 WK2: 188.2 Hanging in with a consistent 2 lb loss each week, so far. I didn't gain it overnight, so I am really happy to lose slow and steady. MFP is giving me the accountability to myself that I need to reach my healthy goals. Keep up the good work, everyone!:flowerforyou:

Start:192.2 Today:190.2 GW: 182.2 I was pleasantly surprised at the scale, considering I had a yo-yo of a week. My walking regime was set back due to a monster snow storm on Monday which left all sidewalks treacherous, and a wild cougar is roaming around town in the evenings, so that hinders my after supper walks with my…

I just did 50 in the bathroom at work, but desperately missed my sports bra. lol I have been trying to get them done in intervals of 100. Yesterday I got up to 500, but it's been sporatic. Great goal to work toward. Thanks for the inspiration.

Happy March 1st! Looking forward to this challenge! SW: 192.2 GW: 182.2

I also have a love/hate relationship with running. In fact, I used to always say that the only time I would run is if I was being chased, but then I got the bug a few years ago. I learned to run on a treadmill, but once I hit the pavement, I could never go back. After training and completing a bunch of 5 and 10km races and…

I've never given anything up for Lent either, but am thinking strongly of trying my biggest weakness, Red Wine. Might as well sacrifice something that will be missed, and should help with losing the pounds too. Note: My profile pic is of me at a vineyard. lol :drinker: Good luck and I look forward to March!

I am in too. Just the motivation to kick start the Spring and get into my skinny jeans before they go out of style.

Same thing happened to me today. I opted to have two cookies and instead of having a day of rest, have added a workout in to counteract the damage. Checks and balances. After the yo-yo-ing I've done my whole life, I refuse to be afraid of the occasional treat. I think it will help me keep my goals in line and not make me…

Pricetag: 7085 Crazy little thing: 10064 Jump: 10002 Ok second scores are better for the most part. Ended up dancing for 90 minutes last night and broke 10K on several songs. Can't seem to improve my Pricetag. I swear I am doing it exactly like the dancer, but I get so many 'ok's and a few 'x's. I am trying to figure out…

I have heard of the 4.2 calculation for sweat points, but at that rate, I burned 1265 calories last night, and I have a hard time believing that number. I was running for years and didn't burn that much. I think once I get the HRM, I will have a more accurate number.
