Well she DID say 'personally, I'd rather drink real juice than diet ocean spray or something.'
-
OK that's cool. :)

I had my balsamic sesame chicken again, with rice, some crackers and babybel gouda and cheddar, and a boiled egg - so not picture worthy, although the egg did come out very nicely in the shape of a fish. I have to go and eat it in a corner of the break room though because it really smells. Looking at the above (which looks…

When I see 'peeps' I think 'people' and all this talk of barbecuing them and exploding them in microwaves is making me very uncomfortable.
-
Wrong thread :(
-
Yes we do. I suspect we just grate cheese on top of chips, we don't bother with the fancy stuff! ;)
-
Wow @mangrothian that looks amazing!!

I find I get really nauseous when my head is upside down - I had to stop doing yoga for that reason. I don't know if it's to do with my lowish blood pressure or what but it doesn't seem to matter when or what I eat.

Fluctuations of 2lbs could also be due to recently eating food high in sodium (such as KFC or McDonalds). Try to focus on the overall trend.
-
I dunno, insect legs are probably good sources of protein, and surely 'clean'?
-
here's todays bento, although I suspect the onigiri is absolutely too massive and I will only eat half of it. It has salmon in it.

I know, the 'no-knife rule' came as a great surprise to my American sister-in-law.
-
My mum also told us with great certainty that Americans all cut up their food at dinner time before they start eating, then put down the knife and eat only with their forks.
-
Same in UK (though jam is fruit AND juice). I used to think in America, jam and jelly (and the other sort of jelly) were all called jello.
-
Or in my case, Pear. Shape. Which means I will have no boobs, AND my jeans won't fit. Win/win.
-
Yes what is all this other stuff? Black coffee with some semi-skimmed milk, delicious and what, 20kcal?
-
That looks wonderful! I am having a soup 'bento' today so no photo as it's very dull. I really want to bring edamame in my bentos as I love them but I can't find them in any supermarkets! @SpecialKitty7 what's in the little pot?
-
:o B) (*) I am also wanting this from Amazon: but money is tight this month and I've already had so much other stuff... must.. not... click...

Ooh here Le Rustique is a Camembert and I do actually like Camembert better as it lacks that 'edge' I find Brie has.
-
Sorry to hear that, hope you're feeling better soon! I love anything with an owl on it, so this recent fashion for owls (I say recent, it's probably years now) really hit my bank balance. If they had mini Bries in the shape of an owl I'd be doomed.

I did! But it just goes to show I shouldn't have it in the house! Or I should get tiny portions at a time. Man, if they did Stilton babybel...
-
Oops I just went and ate most of that Stilton with some crackers :\
-
This is me - I have managed to sneak a small wedge of stilton into my fridge at the moment but other than that abberation I've had to go cold turkey. My obsession started when I was pregnant and I realised I could no longer have unpasteurised cheeses, parma ham, and cold white wine (you know, when you get condensation on…

Just to say that there will be someone out there for you. Heck, there are probably lots of people out there for you! There is no reason that you have to die alone. I didn't mean that to come off as patronising. I just couldn't let your comment go without saying something.
-
I just poke them about a bit every now and then - seems to work the same.
-
Love the cheese and crackers/Melba toast idea! Here is mine for today - rice, sweet-sour red wine vinegar chicken, chilli prawns, bunny egg (I find this shape the most reliable as its pretty much egg shaped already), garlic greens and cherries/grapes.
-
Yes, that's how I eat it. You make it with water and add salt. Then dip each spoonful in milk. And I call it 'porridge'. I always do well until the evening, then eat all manner of small things and don't log them... No wonder I'm not losing any weight! :\
-
They do. My son (aged 3) asked if I had a baby in my tummy, because it was 'quite big'. Now living in dread of him saying it to someone else!
-
Good advice! I don't have a proper rice cooking pot just a normal pan; the lid allows some steam to escape, so probably the rice isn't the best to start with!

I've found with the big monebento double layered boxes, if you have problems filling them up, then putting a roughly chopped salad into one layer can help (include dressing separately if you like). A lot of bulk, lots of veggies, not many calories. In other news (as I'm sure you're dying to know!) I solved the hard rice…
