Yes you definitely get to eat your workout calories - just make sure they are smart calories and not extra sugars or carbs because that'll defeat the benefit of your workout. Also - drink lots and lots of water!

I was just going to suggest that. It should help with posture. It keeps you awake and alert because you are always moving around and it definitely helps if you can train yourself to tighten your stomach/core muscles to keep you sitting up straight! oh yeah - to add to what the other person said - sometimes it isn't in the scale as much as it is in how the clothes fit and how he feels when climbing stairs, working out, etc.

From my experiences (new as well), make sure you drink LOTS AND LOTS of water. It will help your body not retain whatever calories you are eating. Make sure you are eating the right calories and not just a little of the bad and filling stuff!

Clear liquors have the least calories. Vodka - and maybe a diet coke White Rum and DIet coke Vodka and Juice maybe?
