  • Thank you for sharing such a fabulous, inspiring story. Congrats on your success and the future successes I am confident that you will have.
  • Hi ladies, I just wanted to let you all know that I am dropping out of this challenge. I wish you all continued success. Cheers, Ilana
  • Good morning ladies! Hope you are all doing well. I have been MIA on the discussion board for a bit (although I have been keeping up with my workouts). I haven't been tracking my food lately which has led to gaining a bit of weight back. I know that tracking is definitely one of my keys to success. It also seems that…
  • Good morning ladies! Hope that you are all doing well. I have been MIA for a bit on the discussion board and not great about tracking my food (although I have been working out quite a bit). I realized that by being active on the discussion board, even if I was only posting once a day, I was coming on to the site and would…
  • I'm still here and okay with merging teams if we need to.
  • Found this past week was tough for me. Lacked a lot of sleep - kids staying up too late and waking during the night. Ended up being really tired and not making great choices. Turning it around this week. I did manage to do 4 days of exercise. Went up 1 lb though - not great but could have been worse given my week.
  • I'm still here too.
  • Another thing I'm going to try doing is pre-planning my eating for the day at least the day before. I find I often track as I eat (which is great when I am tracking) but at the same time I am more often to go over a bit because I haven't planned everything in advance. I already pre-plan my workouts for the week so I'm…
  • Hi ladies, How is everyone doing? I'm been MIA for a few days - really tired due to my kids not settling to sleep until late at night and then being up during the night. I have been keeping up with my workouts but not as great with my eating. A bit too much late at night eating. I know its only for a few more days this…
  • Here is my info for this week: 1) weight: 168.8 (gained 0.4lbs) 2) days exercised (goal was 4): 4 (plus karate competition) 3) number of crunches done: didn't complete bicycle crunches - I had been doing other ab exercises in my videos this week 4) cooking recipe: posted 5) days you ate breakfast (goal was 7): 7 My…
  • I was sent this quote this morning and thought that I would share it will all of you as well. "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented,…
  • I really like that quote. Thanks for sharing it.
  • Hi ladies, How are you all doing this week? I thought I would just check in. I've been keeping up with my workouts and karate training - which has been great. I'm physically exhausted today and decided on a rest day since tomorrow I am competing in a karate competition. Food this week has been a bit of a challenge for me.…
  • So many yummy breakfasts. I think I might change mine up and try some of yours. Thanks for sharing.
  • Hey lovelyrose, I don't think you are alone in calculating weight loss that way. I know I once did too when I first lost my pregnancy weight. Even when I got to below my pre-pregnancy weight I still had to wear a larger pant size because my body had changed (2 c-sections later I now had a muffin top). Working hard now on…
  • Ilana - Purple Team Here is my Egg, Avocado,Tomato and Dijon Mustard breakfast wrap . I love having this wrap because it has flavour, zip and it gives me energy. I'm a breakfast eater and I usually eat a wrap like this or have oatmeal (or another cereal) for breakfast. I always add protein to my breakfast as well so that…
  • Way to go! Can you believe you have removed the equivalent of a child from your body already? That is fabulous! I have 2 young ones - 3 (35 lbs) and 7 (50 lbs). I know how heavy and tiring it can be to carry them.
  • Were you wearing the size 16 jeans and XL shirt pre-pregnancy or during your pregnancy? If it was before, I would suggest looking at your weight loss from you pre-pregnancy weight and not the your pregnancy top weight (e.g. if you were 208 pre-pregnancy and wearing the size 16 jeans at that weight and now you are at 189 -…
  • Hi purple team: Here is my update for this week's challenges: 1. 4/7 sessions of exercise – done - actually worked out 6/7 days this week - some days had multiple workouts (4 sessions of Jillian Michaels Body Revolution Workouts, 4 Karate classes, 1 Zumba workout). 2 My something new was Zumba. 3. 425 Squats. 4. 2 dishes…
  • Way to go!
  • Fabulous work this week Jennifer! Keep it up - you are doing awesome!
  • Great job Kelsey! Way to go MLL0319! I'm now at 375. I usually do 75 a day (or I should be since its part of my exercise set for karate training so this has been a good challenge for me). As part of my exercise set I also have situps and pushups (and a couple of other exercises) so I have been working on getting those in…
  • Kelsey - I'm now at 300 squats. How many are you up to?
  • I'm at 225 so far. Catching up!
  • Added my fish dish as well - Thai Hot and Sour Shrimp Soup
  • Ilana - Purple Team Thai Hot and Sour Shrimp Soup Serves 4. 2 cups low-sodium or homemade chicken stock, or mushroom stock (I made mine from scratch - see below) 1/2 lb shrimp, raw with shells on 1/2 tsp chili paste, or to taste 6 mushrooms, sliced 1/2 tsp lime zest plus juice of 1/2 lime 1 tbsp fish sauce A handful of…
  • Hi all, Here is one more post I wanted to share with you. I know when we have lots of weight to remove and toning up our bodies to do, it can be hard to envision what we might look like at our goal weight. I came across a weight loss visualizer tool that lets you upload your photo, input your current weight and height,…
  • Hi all, I posted the note below to my team thread but thought I would share it will you all as well. I wanted to encourage you all to try the challenges if you have not already been doing so. I find it has been helping me stick to my exercise plan, try new things (exercise and food included), and probably most important…

  • Hi purple team ladies, How are you all doing this week? I wanted to encourage you all to try the challenges if you have not already been doing so. I find it has been helping me stick to my exercise plan, try new things (exercise and food included), and probably most important for me at the moment - increase my water…
