This is interesting to learn - I've heard of Topamax (my mom was prescribed it once) but I hadn't looked much into it. Thank you for sharing. Hi mhixxie! I'm on here every day now so we can help each other stay motivated. :) I had planned to lose 2lbs/ week but just lost 1 in 2 weeks so far. I do notice a difference in my body already though from exercising so that's encouraging at least.

I was pretty much bed ridden for about 2 years, & the only time I got up was to go to the bathroom & shower. And I did laundry about once every week & 1/2 - which was actually some exertion for me. Definitely would be fine eating < BMR.

Daily Challenge for Friday February 1st: Add 10-15mins of a workout you don't normally do & post it here. Extra stretching? Weights? Dance around your living room? Some weird yoga poses?

I don't log vitamins or water. Things that I sometimes do/ sometimes don't are 0 calories: tea, vinegars, stevia (I put a dash in my tea sometimes)... That's about it... Oh, & if someone goes "Here try this" and I have a bite.

BMI was 31%, now it's 28.something. I want to get it under 20%, like 17%, but I'll be happy with 19%. I don't have a large frame, but my structure is wide (shoulders & hips have always been that way.)

^ If you don't mind ingesting a boat load of chemicals in liquid form. Vinaigrettes are usually 25-35 cals per serving. Raspberry is usually my fav, but I use balsamic vinaigrette a lot too.

Not all fats are created equal. Some are good, some are bad. Might want to have a chat with him about different kinds of milk since it got brought up. I drink rice milk, but a lot of trainers suggest almond milk. Both are good options, just depends what your needs & wants are.

I would definitely not be complaining if I lost 7 lbs in a month. I only lost 1lb the past 3 weeks while eating practically perfectly & began exercising 5xs/ week.

Tried it about a year &1/2 ago for the full trial time. Didn't work at all. And I used it religiously during the trial.
