Don't give advice, unless it is specifically asked for , and even then watch for signs that they don't want to hear what you are saying and don't push the advice. Edited to add - I am still really struggling with this one.

My freind and I have a cooking night each week on Monday. We take turns finding a recipe that neither of us have made before. It's great fun and we get a bit competitive who can find the best recipes. I like to use the library and taste.com.au, she likes to use good health magazine and her own collection of recipe books.…

Hey, I looked into food combining a while back and all the studies supporting it were old and all the newer studies I saw ( from a simple google search) seemed to say that it has no benefit except if you have ibs. So maybe take that advice with a grain of salt?

I had that problem but once i asked for an account using the same email as my Facebook account it came really quick. They won't give you an account unless they can link it to Facebook or twitter but you can do your settings so it doesn't show up on Facebook every time you pin something Beware though, it is as big a time…

I agree with the people above that the main problem is probably that you 'told' her instead of asking. To me, Sunday nights have a particular significance. They are a time for family, and for resting and mentally preparing for the week ahead. Maybe if it was any other time she wouldn't have minded?
