how funny. i swear i was in the grocery store a few days ago and saw a package of brussel sprouts, and thought to myself "i've always wondered what they taste like, i should buy it." but then i don't know how to cook or prepare it lol....and then i saw this thread. i guess i'm destined to try the brussels sprouts!!

i weight out all my food too. it's just much more accurate when you are calorie counting. it's really taught me how much a serving really is, or what 4oz of chicken looks like. sure, when i go home to visit my mom and bring my food scale she thinks i'm nuts, but whatever lol...it works for me =)

i make a batch of oatmeal for the entire week, and then just weight it out every morning and microwave. or if i'm late for school, i'll grab 2 Kashi waffles w/ some sugar-free jam. i'm not a big breakfast eater either, but i find that i eat more during the day if i don't eat at least a small breakfast

i love pho!!! i think the biggest thing you have to worry about are the noodles. most places have different size bowls, so ordering the smaller size would be a good idea. and maybe not eating all the noodles, like everyone said. but my advice is, if you hardly eat out like I do, then just enjoy it =) pho is pretty healthy…
