I always eat before I walk .... works for me otherwise I am famished and tend to eat too much. Try both see which works for you.

Key I think is to be sure to eat enough and the right foods. A combination of protein and carbs. You need enough carbs to cover the intense workouts with p90x. I am 45 and if I am able to get these results so can you. My brother in law is over 50 and wow what a change. Harder for woman though. I eat every 2-3 hrs every day…

I too would say more cardio, but not just walking. We can fool ourselves with time instead of intensity. Ramp it up....Are you sweating when you finish your workout? You should be if you want to bust past a plateau. Be sure you are eating enough but also the right foods. Every 2-3 hrs is good to eat and important to drink…

Yes i am doing the p90x. Me and a few of my family members. Working like a charm. Lost 11 lbs so far and down to a size 6 for the first time since high school. 29 yrs ago. my brother in law is down 25 lbs and inches galore. Very intense but Lovin it!!:smile:

I would stay away from actual sugar if you can. Some fruits like grapes, nectarines, & oranges are quite high in sugar and can spike in your system. Better to stick to apples, pears, pineapple and berries. Hope that helps:smile:

Hi: This is my first post. I have been doing the p90x too. 2wks in. Down 6lbs but the inches are dropping off. This is a great site. Was having a little trouble with the excersizes and the amt of calories burnt during them. Any ideas? JV:happy:
